Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on CZcams, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on CZcams. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on CZcams, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

Actually got to see Mr. Mister with The Bangles on an ultimate 80's bands tour. I'll be honest, I really went to see Susanna Hoffs and The Bangles, but Mr. Mister was pretty darn good too. They did have a second hit song called "Kyrie", that is very different, and has some religious overtones. The big Detroit Lead Sled in the video is wicked cool, as they say up in New England.

One of the best and most popular tunes of the eighties! The only problem is a bit too much technology eliminating real musicians. Done technically well!

Don't worry about whether you chose the right one or not here - because YOU DID CHOOSE RIGHT! Videos were BIG for us teens (as music videos were actually new & we were hooked.) The versions of songs that WE grew up with therefore are the ones you find in the OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO versions. THESE are also the ones had had radio play where I live.
The longer versions are usually the WRONG ones to listen to. We called them the "extended" versions & they WERE NEVER as good, as it was like the original song was taken & they tried to add extra in that would throw the whole song off balance - & RUIN IT!
The ONLY time longer versions can SOMETIMES be the right one to review is when it is a live version. Many of those tend to be a little longer. LIVE ones are ALSO OFTEN NOT as good as the Offical Music Video version. Do a Live version ONLY if you have specifically been told to do so - as sometimes it is the play with the audience of what they do on stage that adds but in many cases the sound & balance again isn't as good so you should be aware that the version we heard on the radio sounded better.
Few music artists sounded as good live as in studio (unless they were only lip-sinking on stage. That was something we found out was happening at some concerts in the 80s & we were not happy - but music producers pushed it.)
I would only suggest you do a live version apart from when it was suggested if you can't find another version OR if you have already gotten to know the group's/person's sound & you want to see what they look like & how they perform on stage.
Their Other Big Hit was Titled, "KYRIE", which I just Thought was a Girl's Name BUT, it's part of a Religious Term, "Kyrie Eleison" which Translates to "Lord/Christ have Mercy (on me)". The Song is Upbeat with a Great Hook and Good Harmonies!!!
I always heard the lyrics as saying, "Kyrie, she Lays on Down the Road that I Must Travel..." BUT it's Actually, "Kyrie Eleison (Have Mercy on Me) Down the Road...", which DOES make More Sense!
