Oh so that's why! Thank you for confirming FWD cars don't work for Drift Pro. I got an Acura for B tier Drift Pro events and assumed maybe B tier didn't have Drift Pro events, last night. 😅

Even before the update with the drift pro tires, I find the pickup trucks to be surprisingly stable. You definitely need more effort in forcing the truck to slide due to the weight, but once you get the truck into a slide, it is quite easy to keep it drifting. The Chevy Colorado with a big horsepower engine swap is also quite decent. The SUVs are probably similar as well in terms of drifting.
One day the world will know the right use of the word 'powerslide'

there is definitely a difference in driving characteristics between cars! I drive a Plymouth is S tier drift events and the weight transfer in that car is insane and honestly quite a challenge to keep in control with how fast it wants to swing out the rear compared to other more stable cars

There is actually a weird bug in drift races, in which there is a small chance to bump into each other. I know it sounds impossible but it happened to me 2 times now. Someone else had this bug? Cuz its a bit frustrating to lose you multiplier to a "ghost car". But besides that, i really love this update!!

The Taycan feels like what they used as a baseline for the ProDrift Model not gonna lie that thing always slides like absolute madness. :P
Still hoping for them to put the new Drift Tracks to the Old Drift Event's as well the ProDrift Tires would be FIRE in Offline Mode too but the Tracks alone would give us a lot of variety interms of Events to choose from.
When they released the Taycan, I found out by accident that it performs really well in S-class races with a lot of corners (not drift ones), particularly those hairpin ones. The thing with it is that it slides really smoothly, but is also great at keeping on the racing line while at it.
It'll probably perform really well in drift events, pro ones or not, I'd imagine.
The drift pro tires are "rated E for everyone" alright, or in this case, every car

You know you can chain your drifts to get massive scores in a single drift . I got 32k points , but sometimes it works hopefully someone can figure this out . But sometimes when I brake and turn the car perfectly the points won’t disappear and instead keep racking up
from messing around it seems like tires and power are most at play, stock suspension seems to make some cars drift better then using sport or elite aswell.
As i tried before. 2000 GTR is very lightweight AF. It swing like hell. But i pretty sure it will be on the top tier drift machine if you can handle that.
You should try the 69 charger in s class for drifting. I don't think it can be considered cursed, but it's actually really fun. Also the 1970 skyline is pretty fun in a+ lobbies, a little slidy but that's probably just me not having a good handle on it yet.

If that works uniformly across all cars, that could've been due to how off-road suspensions increase traction off-road aka slippery terrains? If that really works like that, it could be a game changer. I'll probably try that out myself one of these days.

I think not putting the drift tyres in single player was to force people to play the online mode who has never played it and make it so the online actually has people playing it

Put off-road suspension in it Max camera the front no camber the back and after you put the offer of suspension in it lower it as low as you can go and drop the downforce to the left side

@@Blownaway1127 I personally got hit with a bug where when I try to enter the pro drift playlist in pvp, it'd put me in some random mixed class races instead.
If the issue you encountered is the same as this, what I did was I tried equipping a car with the pro-drift tires at the garage before going to pvp & clicking on the pro drift playlist. It's actually getting me pro drift races consistently now, albeit only within the car class of the car I equipped beforehand.
I cannot guarantee if this would work for anyone else though. But it's worth trying I guess.

The cars definitely handle different. My Z is surprisingly way looser than the new mustang, both making around 650hp

I wish that criterion adds more wrap slots, I cant even change the color of a third of my cars
When I came up with that problem, I deleted some of my downloaded wraps and made sure I favorited the player that made the wrap. But yes, if they gvies us unlimited car slots, they should also give us unlimited wrap slots.
@@redtool that works but just changing the base color takes up a slot no differently than fully designed wrap with decals galore. I paint my own wraps and can't make any more now.

Viper-swapped NiSMO 370Z felt pretty damn cursed in A+ drift-pro - after only most of 1 run of constant spin-outs, I was back in my garage, returning it to a race build...
Have you tried switching to Manual and Drifting in second or third Gear exclusively cause to me it seems the more Power you have the faster you Spinout because of the absurd Speed you pick up so quickly.
@@Frankenstein_ Still have yet to ever attempt manual shifting in this game. My assessment was that it was either riding too low for proper suspension compliance over all the damn curbs, or it was too light, though most likely it was both...
@@GRIMEYtheFATMAN I kept spinning out with my Driftcar cause it had way too much Power.
What I mean by that is that spinning out exponentially increases with how fast you are going.
You can fix it partially with setup but going manual and sticking to lower gears almost prevents spinning out it seams.

It's a bug thats hitting only certain players for some reason. They've taken note of it & are working on it, apparently.

Theo, can you please provide them a feedback about the WRAPS on PC? For a lot of people, liveries (wraps) become invisible on the right door, or just black. It is really ugly and buggy, please.
We best go to the EA forums & create a thread for it in the Unbound bug section, with video footage so they'd have a proof it's happening.
Currently, the only way to fix it is to reapply the wrap from your library, but it's only a temporary fix & will happen again sooner or later.

@@DennisAlexe If you mean posting on the forum, yeah unfortunately I've also seen it going on & posted around the forum since then (and likewise, I've also been having the same issue for just as long).
It's probably low priority on the list of bugs to fix (either that, or they still can't find out how to fix it yet). Which is sad imo & very annoying that we have to reapply the wrap every single time. :/

This game crashes so much when you busy drifting. Also if you don't know. They fixed the S14 weird height issue even with air suspension equipped so they definitely can fix most of the cars that doesn't get that crazy Japfest fitment. If they don't forza will in the future. Similarly to the drift they should add an extra feature for those who wanna go bat shit crazy 😂 give us two air suspension options, the current version for boomer fitments and the 2nd for the low low fitment that unlocks the other customizable features that 15 had 😮
