People need to stop listening to their eyes and pay attention to their ears when listening to Zendee sing. Those who say she is average would say she had a great voice if they heard the song on the radio. We have a strange society that believes only great singers have a certain look, lose the belief and listen.

Zendee, I was professionally trained and sang for years. I never recorded, but sang local in my area. When I was fixing to graduate from high school, I had the opportunity to go audition at the Julliard School of Music in New York City. Because I had not received the proper support as I grew up from the people that I should have been supported by, at the time when I had the chance to audition I did not believe in myself and as a result, I turned down the opportunity. I was TERRIFIED of failure! Sadly, what I didn't understand then was that the only TRUE failure, is the failure to not try. I was VERY good, but just could never believe in myself sufficiently to be able to try to go outside of my "home town" area if you will. That's what makes what you have done SO VERY SPECIAL! I have to tell you, that was one of the most beautiful renditions of Hallelujah that I have ever heard. I think I actually preferred it over K.D. Lang's version, which I actually listened to earlier this evening before hearing yours, so it's fresh in my mind. Zendee, I wish you the very best of luck and much success and happiness. Be sure to stay WELL balanced and true to your roots!
