- De paso por Catalunya, en un momento del pasado que ya pertenece a la leyenda, me encontré en un concierto y sobretodo en un "después del concierto" en que pasaron cosas maravillosas, como las que se veen y escuchan en este vídeo.
Con la esperanza de que un día volveremos a vivir momentos como este, cuando la pandemia se habrá acabado y sólo será un lejano recuerdo...

Lo que daría por estar en un concierto así.
intimo, juguetón y vibrante. 😍
Y lo mejor es que ni siquiera fue un concierto, sino algo que surgió después, entre músicos que acababan de tocar en el escenario y otros músicos que estaban en el público. En fin, mi opinión de toda la vida, la mejor música acontece fuera del escenario 😉

As a long time fan of both Rita and Silvia, I figured they must have run across each other somewhere (both being from Catalunya), but I'd never seen any evidence of that. So this was a complete surprise, and a real treat. You were lucky to have been there for this, and we are lucky that you captured it for us! Thanks so much -- and I hope your luck continues. Sylvia also acted as videographer on a jazz performance by Lucas Delgado (sitting behind Rita and Lucia) with Rita on trombone (a brilliant set).
@@fliprim Thanks a lot for that link, that was outstanding! I love the song (Oración Del Remanso), and I once spent a long time translating it into English. And Rita's mom (Elizabeth) is just fabulous, always has been. And of course, Rita and Silvia together are just magic! Very nice!

@@fliprim I think I might have seen that before, but it's worth watching again. Every time I see that trombone/guitar combination I think "how's this going to work"? And the answer is always, of course, "wonderfully!". But who would have thought?
Rita's Oracion on Imagina, recorded at 18, was the first piece of her I listened to. The emotional power of her interpretation shook me so unexpectedly and very profoundly. And here's precisely an example of why Silvia does not match Rita in originality, a great example of why Rita is truly unique in this kind of music. Of course, their Oracion duet is delightful, but Silvia, with her great singing, does not go beyond the convention, the soulfulness, poetry, expressiveness Rita is exuding is simply not there. Just to be sure, this is not in any way intended to belittle Silvia's beautiful artistry, I enjoy and appreciate it very much.
