I feel that a little hot glue would hold the sash in place and wouldn't allow it to come of so easily. But I do think that tying it in place is also good because you can only use one hat and different sashes to match every one of your looks.

This is very cute Becca. I bought 2 straw type hats last month to alter for Summer.....but Northern Ireland has decided Summer isn't happening....Again! Lol. I'll alter them anyway, regardless of the constant rain. I need to finish my brother's wedding stuff first though! Great tutorial. Lee x
