Isn't it great to have these young guys the other side of a screen so easily accessible? Remember when we had to buy books (often badly transcribed) or weekly publications to get 1/10th of the inspiration you can get from one touch of a button now?
Not only that, this guy and his contemporaries are pushing what can be done with a bass so much more than when we were his age. It's fantastic. I'm so happy for people like Charles, their success is well deserved and is earned in a world I'm not entirely sure that I understand.

I don't think I have ever seen a bass player with your chops ever, and it's musical, it grooves, it's often beautiful and you are so young still. I am wondering with all those mad skills you have...Can you still play music in a band setting, do you write music, can you still find pleasure in "normal" bassplaying, in a support function, interacting with other musicians? Or are you so far beyond all that that it forces you to be kind of isolated because nobody can keep up with you? Do you have any music projects that you are a part of? Can you post some clips of music projects you are involved with?

I would love to see him play in a group with a couple rhythm guitars supporting him. The bass is usually a support instrument but there’s no reason it HAS to be. If he was primarily a guitarist, he would 100% be out front shredding; there’s no reason he *can’t* fill that role as a bassist. His skill would be wasted in a purely support role imo.

Hey Charles, do you have any original music/songs up online to listen for free?
I know you sell your albums, but was hoping that you have at least a couple of free songs online.
    You are an amazing musician.

All of this music reminds me of my brother, the greatest musician I ever saw...He would make music from anything.

That's one hell of a warm up exercise Charles ;) Think if this mere mortal attempted even part of this, 1 minute in and I would have successfully managed to make a half-hitch knot out of my fingers and not much else.
