- In continuation of to part one, we start by getting the fuel tank installed, mount the Holley fuel pump, pre filter, and post filter. I have some concerns about the pre filter that I need to address. All in all, the system turns out pretty good, and should function well for the stock engine as well as with future upgrades and boosting.

Love watching how you solve ‘problems’ and catching a few hardware tips along the way. Everything is hard, but you at least make it look easy to us. 😜
Thanks! This was a fun one!
Great work!
Thanks!
I use steel braided fuel line on the Diecycle, definitely overkill cause theres no pressure, but looks freakin awesome. Yours is looking sweet as hell man!
I saw that! I will for sure!
Love your work. I don’t think I would want my gas tank in that location on an off road rig. Just don’t smash you rear quarter!
Not the best location, but I don't plan on testing that quarter panel!
Do you have the part numbers for the redhorse racing fuel filter and fuelab regulator and gauge? -Also l83 swapping over here in WA
I believe it is a 4151082 red horse. That’s a -8 which is overkill. -6 fuel system would be fine which is a 4151062.
Here is the pressure regulator. It doesn’t come with fittings.

Here’s the gauge. It has bad reviews, but I don’t believe they are not actually for the fuel labs gauge.

Thanks for the reply and part numbers.
Did you run it yet and see if they work well?
I'm trying to plumb a Boyd's tank with an aeromotive 340 to an L83 but having a difficult time finding which parts I need. Is it just fuel filter to regulator since the pump is in the tank?
@@savageblades360 who did your harness and computer? Factory would not need a regulator because it uses pulse width to the regulate fuel pressure. Psi (who did my computer and harness) needs the pressure regulator the way I did it.
Mine is running, fuel system works fine. In the end though, pulse width IMO would be the better way to go, but it 100% depends on who did your computer and harness
@@DeathTollRacing (congrats on having the only video with this subject of content btw lol)
I haven't gotten that far yet but am considering using Ken with 'Stand Alone Harness' because his videos and website seem professional. I'm trying to get an idea before I start and am working on brake and fuel lines. But ya that's good to hear I'd like the alternate as well because mounting a regulator to shaved firewall unpreferred.
@@savageblades360 thank you! If I were to do it again, PWM fuel system would be a must have especially if you plan on boosting it in the future. I’m pretty sure psi offers that now as an option. They may have back then also, but I didn’t realize at the time the long list of benefits at that time.
