Definitely! There can be so much doom and gloom sometimes (although hardly surprising) but good to put something positive, helpful and practical out there. Thank you for watching! x

I would second the adjustable bed. Even though it’s expensive it has been a godsend. If you have a partner you can get single mattresses that fit in a king size bed frame so you can just adjust your side of the bed. I also have a chair that rises and reclines in my living room. This makes such a difference to my life as has my electric wheelchair that I got last year that allows me to go out more. Thanks Jenni and friends for producing a great video that I picked up lots of tips from xx

I find that ALEXA helps us a lot. It means I don't have to yell (hurts my aching head) or look all over the house for my kids or to check whether they are doing their work in their rooms (we home educate). I can call their room or the area of the house I know they said they would be in using the system (or just call everywhere), and do a check in a minute or two of all of them. It is also great for audiobook listening and cheerful music, as well as reminders to call for refills or to pay bills (I write messages to myself at night, then set reminders in the morning). I imagine any similar system will help as well, we just enjoy playing Jeopardy and asking "her" to tell us jokes. Hugs!

So a hack I have for cooking in pans is using a chip fryer strainer, I’ll try and put a link to what I mean, but I use it in a saucepan whilst cooking so you put your veg, potatoes or even pasta inside the chip fryer basket and put that inside your boiling water saucepan and cook as normal. It means I can use two hands to lift and drain the boiling water just there in the sauce pan, then put food onto the plate. I then can leave the boiling water in the pan on the hob to go cold and all I need to do is then use two hands to then drain that cold water out later on. Hope the link works and you understand what I mean. www.wilko.com/en-uk/wilko-functional-chip-pan-basket-8-x-18cm/p/0042850
