- The next day, Nick tells Juliette his plan for the day. He will take her to downtown Whispering Pines to go shopping in as many stores as she wants, then they will go grocery shopping for their romantic (proposal) dinner. At the grocery store, Robin is secretly talking to one of the employees. The employee says he will try to pick her up later in the day and will give her some money.
From Season 1 Episode 16 ‘The Thing with Feathers' - Nick tries to take Juliette on a romantic weekend but soon becomes embroiled in an unexpected case invovling a species of Wesen thought to be extinct.

If they created a spin off of this show I would watch it with no hesitation. How this show ended could have been done better and I think David can definitely still act and return as Nick.
i wish if this spinn off went released,i want to see o old Nick killing and hunting wesens and teaching his children how the things are,a pretty couple btween he and adalind and see all the aventures with his son kelly and adalind's daughter.
finished the show recently and i have to admit this was one of the best ends of series i've seen in the last years.... the only thing i wish they had shown the Drillinge in Woge...

I agree. The ending was a big teasing let down after two rather disappointing final seasons.
A Zelton...Selten..(rare) Vogel (bird). They found a way to make things sound magical by using bad german, that's kinda awesome

Wesen is also German for creature. It feel kinda weird listening to it. Especially since they aren't even pronouncing it properly, but with an English accent :D

I don't know about the magical sounding part. If you know German it all comes across as a bit funny, seriously I laughed when he said "an unbezahlbar" lol yeah that makes it immediately clear what it is. Literally translates to "un payable" meaning priceless. Basically he saying, it produces something from its glands and it's called a "priceless"....funny.
I want Monroe and Rosalee spin-off.

Biggest plot flaw is that nick isn't always wearing sunglasses after he finds out about the eye thing.

Loved the show. Thought the way it ended was a chaotic mess that didn't really make sense.

I love the show as well. Ones of best things about the show was its ending. Another good show to watch is Fringe that also has a great ending as well.
And this is Grimmverse of the golden goose and the hen from Jack and the Beanstalk. BTW, golden geese in the old folklore had golden feathers 🪶, the egg 🥚 was the hen, modern days combined them.

One day I'm gonna meet a guy and have him sit down and watch Grimm all 6 season and after we finish I'm gonna say "You have to be like Monroe if you want me forever". Monroe's the absolute perfect husband and friend that Nick doesn't give him enough credit for.
The point of dating is finding someone where you both make each other happy, not telling someone how they "have to be like" in order for you to deign to be with them.
Dating isn't build a bear, this is why you got so many single people in their 40s still looking for the one.
Um, maybe that guy doesn't exist. hahaha MONROE is a saint. Most of us humans are definitely NOT. LOL!!!! Monroe is the friend that all men want. loyal, steadfast and courageous. Monroe will never leave a friend hanging in the wind. Monroe, though not necessarily a hunk, is the most compassionate, understanding, yet incredibly brave husband that any woman can hope for. That makes Monroe, kinda like a golden unicorn. Someone who is incredibly rare :D
Lol. Most man have good virtues but also vices otherwise he will be very bland. Man like Monroe seldom become successful.

I watched this series all 5 or 6 back to back during lockdown. Loved every episode and have become such a huge fan

I remember this show, it was pretty good. I liked all of the characters and the evil fairy tales.
Grimm is a great show. It reminds me of some Chinese myth & stories of yao guai who has humanoid form that can shift between feral and human.
As a german, it is rather funny to hear them use the german words …
As an Austrian I concur. And it often made so much more sense to know what the names meant.
For the non german speakers Seltenvogel= rare bird, Unbezahlbar= invaluable/priceless
Yeah, I can imagine quite funny. As a norwegian hearing them talk about the varme tyv (or varmetyv, which is the gramatically correct version of the name) wesen was hilarious.

Well. But isn’t the „Zerstörer“ the rarest Wesen? I mean , Yeah he isn’t a classical Wesen, he is the Devil of the Mirror Dimension. But he called Nick immediatly Grimm. Normally only Wesen do that. Plus, he was able to wogue

Seltenvogel: this word doesn't exist in german as nominative but it's a combination of the word selten (rare) and vogel (bird) so meaning "rare birde"
Unbezahlbar: literally translated as "unpayable" in english meaning priceless or invaluable
I thought the rarest were the "I thought they were extinct" aliens that left for Alaska. 🤔
Well they were suppose to be extinct so that makes them not rare but extinct of course they exist but not to monroes and rosalees knowledge if that makes any sense 😂😂
Seltenvogel and Glühenvolk seem to be the rarest and most valuable Wesen.

One of the WORST endings of a show that I have ever seen. It was like the writers & director gave up.

wtf, watching this as a german is very weird. "wesen" means "being" in german
"selten vogel" means "rare bird" if you would litterly translate it, it sounds like a english person litterly translated rare bird into german.

was this an actually good show? Because that seemed... dumb. Just a way to start conversation by casually coming across multiple fake passports of your brother which he kept on......an open shelf
It actually is, and the passport thing was an ongoing scene, and I can't get into it without spoiling it. Also maybe you're the dumb one for not realising a clip doesn't tell you the whole nuances that's going on in the background.

It's not the "most" rarest because that would mean that rarest has varying degrees of rarity. Rarest is exactly that, RAREST and there is no need for "The most" in front of it. Now if you'd said the "Nick meets the rarest of all the rare Wesen" that then gives the scale you wanted in your title. See, out of all the rare Wesen, this one is the rarest. No need for THE FKN MOST! If you wanted to say its the most rare Wesen, that's when you realise why we have the word "rarest" so you don't need to put more in front of it ffs!
Another example. This is good, this is better and this is best. Or in your language this is good, this is more good and this is the most goodest. One way sounds normal whilst the other sounds like someone who says innit at the end of every sentence.

I have this gift of seeing the real form of demons hiding in people. 1 minute their face is normal the next the demon face and normal again, its like they can't hide it from me and I'm also an exorcist which is part of the gift. I hate it sometimes
