I wish the chain had been real, but unfortunately not.☹️. Maybe next time! I always feel most relaxed detecting at the beach. I don’t have to worry about snakes, ticks, etc like I have to keep watch for when detecting inland. That’s why I love beach hunting so much. Sun, sand, and waves - so peaceful.💖💖💖💖

Haha, I’m so exhausted at the end of some days that I can barely go get food. Fortunately, having a casino nearby helps give me a second wind after a long day. 🤣. By the end of one of these big trips I’ve often detected 60+ hours and I’m sore, sunburnt, bruised, cut, and blistered. I come home so beat up. Lol🥴

technique I use when scooping wet sand, is actually hold the scoop in the water and it'll clear all the sand out without having to shake, so things like chains are very unlikely to slip through like they do when the scoop is shaken.
It sure is! Getting that at the beginning had me hopeful for some really good jewelry, but alas. Lol. The boots are Seac Pro dive boots; I have a link for them and the dive socks in my description. They’ve made such a difference in the fatigue I feel at the end of a long day of hunting.🙂

Great videos, pretty Lady! Your videos are encouraging me to get back to metal detecting. I stopped several years ago. A find in another one of your videos. reminds me of the time I found a diamond ring in the the sand below some bleachers at a baseball park. I had the ring appraised and it was worth more than $40K. I put an ad in the lost and found of my local news paper. Several days later I got a call about the ring and the lady showed me photos and provided information on the inscription inside. Got the ring returned to the rightful owner. Best part about returning the ring is that I made a wonderful friendship with the woman and her husband. She apparently caught hell for several years after losing the ring her hubby gave her. Now things have been patched up!
Wow, that is quite a find and a very cool story. I can only imagine the heartache that lady experienced having someone give her a ring that nice and having lost it. Bless you for returning it! 🙌.

Just starting out after 38 years absence from detecting. 4th time out. At a tot-lot at an elemenary school. Among the coinage I got was an 1897 Indian Head Cent. 5 inches deep in barkchips.

You found some antique pull tabs I see (beaver tails). If those things weren't the worst designed consumer product, I don't know what else would be. A person pops one pulls it off and does what? throws it in the garbage? wrong! on the ground, or in the water it goes. Not that folks don't do the same with the newer design, just not as many.....maybe? We detectorists are slowly but surely cleaning them up! Thanks Gin!
I’m always amazed at how many people pull the tab off their drink. Like, who does that and why?! A few months back I did a hunt at lake Charles, LA and let me tell you, I have never dug so many of those old pull tabs in my life as I did there. Never seen anything like it.😧🤦🏼♀️

You definitely guessed right. I love finding beaches to detect with casinos nearby; best combination possible because it keeps me entertained both day and night.😍😍😍. Most casinos don’t allow filming, unfortunately. There’s just a handful that are open and supportive of us CZcamsrs, and I make a point of visiting and supporting them.🍀💖

Suggestion for you. Wet sand is hard to get out of the scoop, angle it where the bottom of the scoop is used as a grater and you will see the sand come out easier.

Nice video. The only thing worse than getting a nice high pitch target in sand and finding out its a pull tab is getting that high pitch sound under roots or rocks and finding a pullltab.

Ah, wouldn’t it be awesome to find a Rolex?! That’s one we all dream of. Before Metal detecting……well, I’ve done many things and still do most of them in addition to my CZcams….it keeps me extremely busy trying to juggle them all. I have businesses in art, real estate, jewelry design, and also do quite a bit of investing/options and futures trading.

Good strategy, Gin. You may want to consider notching out bottle caps. I doubt you'll miss gold or silver with them notched out, but a lot depends on the metal detector you are using. If you can notch them out, you can spend more time on high-value targets. Just a suggestion. Good luck! I enjoy your videos.

Suggestion for you. Wet sand is hard to get out of the scoop, angle it where the bottom of the scoop is used as a grater and you will see the sand come out easier.

Nice video. The only thing worse than getting a nice high pitch target in sand and finding out its a pull tab is getting that high pitch sound under roots or rocks and finding a pullltab.
That’s the truth. At least at the beach you don’t have to work quite so hard for your pull tabs. 😂🍀

Ah, wouldn’t it be awesome to find a Rolex?! That’s one we all dream of. Before Metal detecting……well, I’ve done many things and still do most of them in addition to my CZcams….it keeps me extremely busy trying to juggle them all. I have businesses in art, real estate, jewelry design, and also do quite a bit of investing/options and futures trading.

Good strategy, Gin. You may want to consider notching out bottle caps. I doubt you'll miss gold or silver with them notched out, but a lot depends on the metal detector you are using. If you can notch them out, you can spend more time on high-value targets. Just a suggestion. Good luck! I enjoy your videos.
