in fact, when the starting plot is :" see the story of the squad that sacrifice themselves for a greater good and you know from the very start that they will all die" and in a sci fi settings, space opera grand blockbuster type, i think there is no 50000 way to tell the story ^^ and it's why i think there both incredible movie and game

@@foxcook2487 Yeah, the first time you play the campaign, I'd recommend playing alone. Co-op is usually for repeats, achievements, and skulls. And then again, maybe Halo: Reach shouldn't be the first game you play in the series. I'd love to see her do a review of Halo 3: ODST.

I don't know any other channel that uses movie/TV show references better and more often than GFR. They are so funny and on point it's insane. Not once in all their videos did I think a reference was meh or unneeded, and if I'm not mistaken, they didn't recycle any of them. That takes crazy amount of talent and sense of humor, not to mention the sheer amount of pop culture knowledge. No wonder this channel blew up so fast and deservedly so.

I will say, the disconnect between the goofy situations and the serious tone of the campaign comes up a lot less when playing it solo. Co-op Halo is pretty much 90% goofing around, 10% paying attention to the story.

If you ever catch yourself wanting to play through the halo stories, play through reach again. The story is predictable but it's supposed to be since in the total lore, we already knew how it would end. It's such a great story and a real depressing one, especially if you get immersed and play it solo.
I just did that a few days ago.. Now I don't know what to do. Shall I play halo 2 for the cool cutscenes but terrible gameplay; or halo 3 with the best story but in-engine rendered cutscenes.

I hope the other games of the Halo man collection get reviewed too when they come out. Allthough I might prefer it if the whole collection gets one mega review since some of the games are fairly samey.

Except when I got it a crippling audio issue completely prevented me from playing or enjoying the game in any capacity whatsoever and I am forced to sit and twiddle my thumbs until they patch a game-breaking problem that shouldn't have even been there on launch.
So basically the same experience 11/10 review.

if you play halo campaign by yourself it's serious and you will love the story but if you play campaign with more people then it's just funny. that's at least what my experience has been like
