- (June 2019) Andrew and I went on an evening adventure around downtown Oklahoma City, and found this rather large parking garage with 4 Thyssenkrupp elevators. These just have MAD fixtures, and don't run the greatest. It would have been neat if these were glass.

I've been to OKC a couple of times. My last time was back in Thanksgiving 2017.
otis: makes elevator with smart leveling and smooth startups with the elevonic 401 back in the 80s
thyssenkrupp: makes elevator without smart leveling in the late 2000s when otis, kone, and schindler have been doing it for years/decades

the main thing i dont like about TK is that if you push the door it safety breaks the elevator
you're not supposed to push the door though? if it's going to interfere with shaft equipment, maybe safety braking isn't a bad design there
