I love both the tutorials and these landscape photography sessions on location. I would love it if you talked us through a shot here and there. Doesn't have to be for every one of your shots but would love to know your thinking about choices for filters and why you chose them. Thanks!

It's good seeing you deal with bad weather situations. I had the same in the Canadian Rockies last week. When you've flown 4000 miles you just have to get on with it, and like me you did. Also the pano handheld with the 20mm, every CZcams video says how you have use a tripod etc, etc. Looking at that handheld pano of the Dolomites you nailed it again! Excellent stuff Attilio.

  • @tyngiammaycheng

I've been taking photos handheld with Nikon 610 and Nikkor 20mm F1.8 for my travels. After following your videos recently, I added a tripod and some ND/ND Grad filters. Now, I can't wait to go shooting some landscapes with what I learned here. I enjoy your videos very much because it's like going out taking photos with you. Thank you very much.

love you videos and commentary. as for the weather... i just wanted to say that, while it's on everybody's mind, i think weather holds a different spot in all photographer's mind. i'm going to the rockies in a few days, and the weather forecast says it's gonna rain 7 days a week. My family are worried, but for me, not just being an optimist, but as a photographer, weather can change at a drop of a dime. And i have to say, the most dramatic landscape photos i have seen are the ones when there are turmoil in the cloud, when the sky is ripped apart by the storm... but of course, all that, happens preferably not around where you are. But if it is, it'll pass. And when it does pass, your patience is well rewarded with the drama. Sure, everyone loves a clear blue sky with still blue lake at the foreground, but where's the originality in that. So for those photographers who watch this video, and would rather stay home when the forecast says rain, i'd say, "embrace it".

Attilio you must come in winter! And next time you walk past Rifugio Averau, (min 4.29) make sure you book a table and enjoy a gourmet meal there. 😉 anyway, you are doing a great job both with tutorials and with videos on location. They complement each other, we need the former so that we can handle situations on location better, like not having time for a tripod, bad weather, not knowing what we find, or even dull atmospheres. I would love it if you could make a video with your editing of these particular shots. Thanks for all the work. Enjoy the rest of your holiday in dear old Italy.

Tutorials are great, love learning new or improve existing techniques. But watching you exploring different locations, the conditions you encounter and still see the nice pictures you get are nice. A mix of exploring and getting images followed by tutorials where you process them in LR and PS could work OK. Nice video, Thanks

Tutorials are useful but those Landscape Photography videos on locations - those are must... Those are the most motivational, educational and enjoyable to watch . Like mentioned by other users earlier - short explanation about your choices of hardware (lens, filters, etc) and composition would be nice addition. If weather allows ;-)

Thank you so much for the opportunity to take a short, picturesque trip around the Dolomites with you. Despite the bad weather, the photos are still great. The advantage of this weather are empty trails and there may always be some unexpected change in the weather. I was unexpected that the panorama from the hand would come out so well. For me, the horizon always escapes one way and I would rather have a problem with it.
Personally, I like these reports of interesting locations more than tutorials.

Attilio, these photography sessions on location are excellent and the images you have taken are extremely beautiful. Loved seeing the Dolomites thru your lens . Great content, Attilio. I'd love to see more of these. Thanks

Excellent video. I really enjoy those vlogs on location - because those give you the inspiration to find better compositions. Thanks for posting this video now since we are going to the Dolomites next week. Keep up the good work. Thumbs up and subscribed.

Way to make something from less than perfect conditions. Good job. If you have never heard of Erin Babnik, check her out. Unreal photos of the Dolomites.

Just amazing scenery, your hand held Panorama was brilliant. Nice to see other people go out in bad weather just to get the shot, always look forward to your next video, thanks for sharing your knowledge.
