- Hi Guys :) Welcome to my eyeshadow panning project for the year. This is the project level up & BYOP Pan That Palette Update 1. Idecided to join the project level up project pan and I wanted to join it since last year. This project was set up by @sofiealexandrahearts and I couldn't be more grateful to her for sharing this masterpiece of fun with us. The more project pan ideas the better and lets be real we all have a soft spot for eyeshadow project pans.

Hi :) How is your shadow usage going? Its my favourite product to watch people pan but the most daunting.
Slow - been using the same shade of a Charlotte Tilbury pallette for about 4 months and still no pan 😂 think I'm getting close though as there's a big dip...
@Victoria Cariad you will get there. After 4 months I'd say you won't let yourself stop❤️

@@StephLyons wonderful! He ´s playing as I ´m typing this. Seriously, level up is great, and you ´re off to a great start! I think I ´d like to try a byop this year and see if I could hit pan in a shadow at all !! (This is amateurs’ quarters around here, haha!)
So I have built my byop: six neutral shades, four older Nars baked gelee formula (I love how satin they look), Sydney Grace shimmer and a dark brown by Melt (actually from the contour stack, haha). It is convenient too as I do not have a lot of time to do makeup..
I’m more of a makeup hoarder than a regular wearer 🤦♀️ but I swatch my stuff pretty often, and I would have said Mercury Retrograde was my #1 favorite palette for at least a year, so I probably swatched the shimmers in that one more than ten times, and have even worn it many times, and girl, I have a lot to choose from! I haven’t hit pan, but I think I am pretty close on a few of the shimmers, and that is almost completely just from application with a finger, so I would guess you could hit pan on a shimmer in that one in less than 20 uses, maybe even sooner. Not sure about the mattes, because I tend to swatch them less often. I can’t wait to see your looks! I loved your looks with the Retro palette! Have fun!

I hit pan in my CT quad in the shimmery cream shade at the end of February. The pan is slowly but steadily growing now. I want to see how well I can do with the shimmery brown and the topper both have huge dips but the pans are so deep. The matte is going to take longer but now I have a dip starting. MR is a gorgeous palette and one I think you will do well with! My prediction is one shimmer pan one matte pan lets see how it plays out.
The Mercury Retrograde is so easy to hit pan in!! It was one of my only palettes during lockdown as all my makeup was stuck elsewhere, it's so beautiful isn't it?! Good luck! 🍀

Excellent progress!!!! I am only panning an old quad. I have hit major pan on three of the 4 shadows, but have used more than 50% on each one and a huge dip on the 4th. Actually…interestingly, I have a large dip in the Shell color in the ND 28 pan palettes. These are like 0.08ounces (not sure grams). So it is about 4 times the usual pan size. I am close to hitting pan on the ND Lila Cyclone shade. So close! I am happy with dips but would prefer more love over all my palettes then panning one is what I have learned. That stated, I find it so satisfying see y’all pan these!!! 😀
Love this comment so much because I'm here imagining it😂. You could potentially finish that quad at this rate? I totally feel you on rather use across the board though and yet I can't help myself but pan. I feel like doing it this way gives me more of chance at getting use around the whole collection. I'm going to look up shell, those pans are gigantic. Do you wear makeup every day? Well done 👏
@@StephLyons well I was saving the quad because it is special to me. Then I realized…use it or lose it. I’ll finish it hopefully by the end of 2024. I’m not in a major hurry as you can see, lol! I can myself hitting pan a few times and then getting more excited but it hasn’t happened yet. I thought about taking one with little product and trying it to see how I enjoyed panning eyeshadow. I have been really enjoying all your videos!!!!
The mattes in MR took me 70+ but the shimmers are less than 20! 🥰

Steph, you’re so lucky with your eyeshadow! I just reached level two too and I got the Melt Muerte palette and it’s really big pans and hard packed with eyeshadows in deep colors so I’m a little worried😂
I really am with this palette because it's so bloody lovely and every day wearable. Lord the muerte is tough but you CAN do it. Even a liner is a way😂. We are both on level 2, it's nice to be on the same level as someone.
I was about to ask if you took advantage of your trip to Poland to buy some Glam shop eyeshadows but I wonder if they wouldn't be an online only brand even there...
OooOoo it would of been cool if it was in store but I didn't come across it. I entered my first ever sephora when I was there but I didn't buy anything 😂. I would love if I could see the glam shop in person.❤️
