These shadows are my kinda colors! I can NOT justify spending that amount of money on a ND palette! I've never owened one, I don't think I'd ever buy one. Now I wouldn't refuse a ND palette if it was gifted to me, but I just wouldn't spend my money on one. The alter ego palettes that I have, I LOVE LOVE LOVE them! I think the quality of their palettes are just as good as any of my high end palettes! (I do buy lots of higher end palettes, but I ND is just way over the limit I'm willing to pay) .... this eye look is BEAUTIFUL on you!!! You always look beautiful! .....I've been wanting the alter ego bloom palette FOREVER! every time I get on their site it's ALWAYS sold out. I guess everyone else wants it too. I have not tried ND I keep hearing mixed reviews, people that say her eyeshadow are so special ,and different than some say they don't get what the hype is . What I have yet to find is a dupe for the Tom Ford / Charlotte Tilberry sparkle glitter in their quad eyeshadow, now to me those are unique.

This dupe pallette would be great for someone who is new to makeup! Natasha Denona tends to be a little too pigmented sometimes, making it harder to blend.

Zabrena, one thing about the ND metallics...they apply best with your finger using a press and drag method. They will instantly smooth out and become very intense. They're one of my favorite formulas because they are cream to powder. You don't need much either, that may be why you got so much fall out.
I got Alter Ego's version of the ND gold palette a year ago and the formula is fantastic. I wanna try this one.

Love this video! Also, I have the ND Retro palette and I don’t like the colors or cohesion. There is something about it that is slightly off. And I have almost all her palettes. I would recommend the Sigma New Mod palette over it…or try this Alter Ego palette. Be blessed!!!

FWIW, I have found that the ND shimmers apply beautifully with a finger. They're a very creamy formula and a brush is not (for me) the best applicator.

Sheglam does dupes of ND palettes the gold palette is the afterglow palette metropolis palette is brick lane it's not the same lay out but every shade is duped plus extra the afterglow is exact copy at £6.99 the brick lane I think was £9.99 last time I saw it they probably have more dupes I just have not looked

I've been curious about the Alter Ego Artemis palette which seems to be a dupe for the Natasha Denona Metropolis palette (love my green, blue, and gold eyeshadows), so will eventually be giving that one a try!! 👏✨
For me the Harmony Palette is by far the better performance palette. I loved the way you explained every move you made, and so much so that, you have a new subscriber!!! See you in the next video🤗❤️
How is it by far the better performing palette? Literally the only negative thing she said about it was that the shimmer shade had some fallout . . . Like the large majority of shimmer/glitter shades do. But she also said that the shadows from the Retro palette were more pigmented. So if you're going off of the video, I really don't see how you come to that conclusion🤷🏻♀️

Looks so much better applied than in the pan.
Viseart, Mac and Kat Von D crease on me. Wet n Wild, Colourpop and Milani don't. I've noticed the former have more oils in their formulations, is what makes them "blendable" but no eye primer is enough to stop the creasing with those oils plus the oils of my eyelids, which are not dripping oil 😂😂 still, I def benefit from drier formulas=longevity. Maybe this is the same between these two. Is Alter Ego "silky" or drier?

Think I really liked the flower beauty lipsticks it is more tinted that a lip balm but not to sheer and last and stains your lips.

I didn't see if you used a primer. I bought the My Dream palette and was lamenting in a Facebook group that it didn't last. But I was encouraged not to use the primer I was, but just use concealer and it worked wonders with ND formula.
(When I first put this comment - I melded 2 sentences together because my brain jumped lol)

Alter Ego has shadow fall out , on most colors. Difficult to work around. Some colors have little shadow pay out, and some intense. I used different brushes, used them wet, and still difficult. Am rewatching your intro, and your Harmony pallet shows the fall out. Used wet was my only choice for any control.

What do you use to apply wet?
you can use a setting spray such as Fix plus from Mac, or any kind really. But take the shadow first, then spray your brush, and apply to eyes. It is not recommended to wet your brush and then dip in the eyeshadow. Hope this helps!
Oh wow did not know that. I always spray my brush first and then apply the eyeshadow, I’ll try the other way around to see if there’s a difference

@@christybaker14 it is more because the setting spray may change/affect the formula of your eyeshadow. So it is not recommended to dip a wet brush into the eyeshadow.

Can you start doing videos on palettes that are safe without toxic ingredients? They contain C1 70000. Not a good choice for palettes.
