The feeling of sadness and bravery during the Holocaust will never end.
In view of today's climate, the timing of this film feels extraordinarily sobering.
Many Jewish people are becoming targets of random attacks in many countries as never before. Many are keenly aware that the safest place for them to be is in the state of Israel. This week, I watched a news clip of Jewish families rushing to the airport to get out of the UK.
During my lifetime, I have read hundreds of accounts and listened to personal stories on the Holocaust.
I have visited museums in NYC and Israel, where my heart has been awakened to the terrors committed against the Jews.
There is a very real enemy in the world at work. The One to be sought after is, YHVH. He alone has the words of Life .
I see the times changing from polish perspective. We are the country in Europe, which gets flow of information, views from western countries. No matter of local public opinion regarding Jews, mainstream flowing from the west was always pro-semitic. Now this is opposite. West stopped to be guardian of jewish affairs and is brodcasting purely arab point of view. This is adding more danger to already grave danger Israel and Jews are facing right now. Angloamerican empire is crumbling and Jews were in history favorite scapegoats in falling empires.
I am interested in something. Maybe I find an answer here: Why are Jewish people disliked by others? Logic says that there must be a reason if one dislikes another, or are others in generally bad and for no particular reason dislike Jews? And then also: If others dislike Jews, do they generally dislike all, or are they making a distinction between certain (for lack of a better world) groups?
Now you understand the suffering of the poor Palestinians for 76 years. Sadly, we never learnt anything from history!

This was a very sad but wonderful story and it also shows how low man stoops in their own greed instead of being compassionate that I find one of the worst human traits of all and we seem be be heading that way again but I pray every day that will not be the case .Everyone who is born deserves to live in peace .

A very touching real life amazing account of survival during attrocities.
Gripping. My background is mixed, I didn’t know I had Jewish heritage until teenage, went to visit my best friend in Israel and was amazed how similar other teens were to me, I was in Haifa, blue eyes but dark features and my curly hair…wow…I grew up, in part, in Sweden and always felt like an outsider. No one got my sense of humor. But in Israel at age 14 I noticed that it was personality too that was similar besides looks and same quirky humor. I knew nothing about Judaism nor that I had a Jewish last name. My background had been silenced, well it was on my dad’s side and he didn’t want anyone to know, he worked as a public servant in the foreign service and there was still lots of prejudices against Jews in Europe right after the war.
It is horrible what the European did ... One can't even imagine the suffering ... There is no doubt in that ... One would hope that humanity would have learnt from this horrific experience ...

What are you talking about? Germans were responsible for the Holocaust. A number of countries in Europe did not participate in the II World War, and plenty of christians risked their lives in order to save Jewish people. Like honestly 🙄 read some history books…

I am very interested in learning more and more history of the survival of these people who experienced such dreadful years, though fellow human beings. Though the stories are real, sad, horrible, terrible etc., they make me want to learn more, though difficult to understand such inhumane and touching events.
In Revelations it talks about a time coming of great martyrdoms. Isaiah 57:1-2
We had other strong brave women like, Harriett Tubman, Rosa Parks and many others that should also be known by sharing their stories like this one. Send more of these brave women stories🌺

The portrayal of the Devorah is of a histeric crazy girl, constantly going through a drama. I am sure that she was a strong person in real life to survive years of hell. Its is so unfair to show jews in this movie as helpless and slow. Only strong an smart survived we need to show them they way they were.

Very atmospheric sad emotionally charged and wonderful acting showing a horrific time in human history amazing photographic images a record to those who lived in this dark chapter. While I can see that people stand with Israel, the sentence that _"American Tax Payers stand with Israel"_ makes me mad. In general, *People are FORCED to pay a tax, no matter if they wish to pay/support something.* There are also people who wish not to pay tax and ignoring their individual will, are forced to do so - such people might say that an involuntary payment of something is theft. How many? I don't know, but even if it's only ONE, the sentence _"Taxpayer stand with [...]"_ seems to be very wrong. And then there also are taxpayers who would rather not stand with [whomever] and again are forced against their free will to participate (and pay). All this force and ignorance of the individual will makes me sick. I sure hope that we humans realize that *everybody has it's individual free will* and can do as he pleases as long as no harm is done to others. With that we might be able to live prosperous together. As long however as anybody thinks he can deny (by force) somebody else his free will, while this individual is causing no harm: How shall there ever be freedom amongst humans?
