The Sandy Sea Shells Wrap Cardigan is a feminine and unique crossover sweater design. The back and front panels are crocheted in one piece in a simple double crochet pattern. The lacy sleeves are worked separately and seamed to the body. Working the sleeves separately allows the width and length to be easily customized.

I attached the yarn to the cardigan and made a row with the shoulder in the middle and continued crochetting the sleeves from there so did not have to sew them later into the armholes

I’m so happy this top works up quickly. One reason why I don’t make sweaters and tops is they often just take too long for me. So thank you for some different options. I have a bigger chest and I find raglan style sweaters and tops don’t fit me well. This fit me very well. ❤ I also love that you very often use stitch markers which help me so much because I’m known for losing count and stitch marks are a great help.

Thank you for this wonderful cardigan. One question please. I am at the end of the increase rows on both panels. The right side panel you mention crocheting 2 rows of single crochet for the edging, but you say 1 row on the left panel, i'm a little confused 🤔 I feel as though I should be doing 2 rows on the left panel. Please could you confirm this. Thank you 💞😊
I’m almost done with the sweater I was confused on that part too. But no, only do that one sc row. Because once you do the chains for the tie for the sweater, then she has you do the edging back to that side and it finishes the single crochet row so they both match!

Bought this pattern last week went to use it today an it’s saying it’s expired. So I went to my email an downloaded it again to renew it. Closed it then when went back to use it it’s done same thing again saying it’s expired but this time it wants me to pay for pattern again

I really don’t understand how you sewed the sleeves on? All my measurements are correct then when I got to the sleeves nothing made sense. I sewed them on and now my back piece is all the way up my back.
What could I use instead of this yarn. My sister-in-law is allergic to bamboo
