Excellent for sure! Sharing ideas together is fantastic...is great to see such great locations all around! Everyone is so blessed and lucky, and if nothing else, being locked down has forced all of us to learn, focus on, and better appreciate local scenes. Thanks so much for putting this together as it is a great inspiration to all of us.

Thank you so much. I think the world over locations in our locality have come to the fore more over the last 12 months. Sometimes just needing the inspiration to get out and explore them - whether that be through photography or a walk with a faithful companion

An excellent and well documented video. The concept of having your friends share your video is brilliant. Thanks so much for sharing the beautiful and scenic country side of country. You are blessed with endless opportunities for magnificent landscape photography. I have to thank my friend Paul for introducing me to your channel. Continue putting together these incredible produced videos and I know you will provide photography inspiration to many.

Mozzam, thank you for heading over from Paul's channel, much appreciated. I've seen some of your shots on Instagram as I've followed you on there for a little while after Paul recommended me to take a look....although I have been on somewhat of an Instagram break until recently.....you have some great images. Also saw your shot on Paul's last video which was a great image. Greatly appreciate you subscribing Mozzam and thanks for the fantastic comment. I am very lucky to live within a couple of hours drive of some really beautiful locations.

Great video mate! Really well done and well worth the wait for it! Great segment by Andrew, as you said, one of the best landscape photographers out there. I absolutely love his channel (despite his questionable taste in football). All four locations I would say are must-sees. I've already added them to my map of potential places to visit if Boris ever opens it up. One of the best parts of the video is how you explain what to expect when you arrive, parking locations, etc. Very useful information for any first time visitors. Simply stunning images you captured in these locations as well, especially at Blea Tarn. Thanks again for the opportunity to contribute to your video, had a lot of fun doing it! Hope you are doing well, have a great bank holiday weekend. Chat soon!

Thanks so much for being involved in this Paul, really appreciate it and so glad to be able to share your favourite location here. And if and when travel does happen again you know you've got a tour guide on hand (I'm sure several!). I was aware that a couple of locations are 'well vlogged' so wanted to offer something a little different and some good info. The first and last Blea Tarn shots were the only fresh ones I actually took during the whole three days of this shoot.....all of the others were images I'd caught in the past, but as the Langdale Pikes had the low hanging cloud formation over them on the morning of filming there I couldn't resist grabbing a couple of new shots (I was on a really tight schedule that day - left the house at 5am and had to be back for 1pm inc. the four hours of driving). Glad you enjoyed it mate and thanks again for all your support, it really is appreciated :)

Excellent episode, Dave! It really felt like I was watching a tv show on the Discovery or Travel channels. It is certainly a goal of mine to visit your country in 2023 and the areas you highlighted solidifies that goal even more. These are locations I will certainly want to visit, especially Blea Tarn. Your cinematography was fantastic and really captured the beauty of these locations. I really loved how you combined your drone shots in the footage. It was great to see Paul and Andrew. I agree they are fantastic photographers and I always look forward to their videos. Thanks for the work you put into this and sharing it with us. I look forward to seeing future episodes!

Hey Walter, thank you so much. Yes Blea Tarn is a must visit when you are over. And there is quite a lot to see down in the valley below including a couple of nice large waterfalls.....unfortunately I couldn't showcase it all in the time frame, but even though it seems small upon first glance there is plenty to do there - easily half a day, well worth the visit. Hopefully I shall see you here in 2023 and shoot somewhere together. :)

I think probably your best video yet Dave. Keep 'em coming!! I also thought your photos were great. I particularly liked the pano looking across Tarn Hows. All the best, Roger.

Thank you so much Roger, the pano of Tarn Hows is a couple of years old now, from my first ever visit there, and is one of my favourites. I would love to do more of this style of video but time constraints etc so they remain 'every now and then' but I definitely have more locations in mind for future 'spotlights'. Thanks again Roger, hope you are keeping well :)

Another great episode in the series Dave. Going to have to practice my bunny rabbit hops for a visit to Tarn Hows - those falls. A great guide for us all to use to find these locations.

Thanks Andrew. It was actually supposed to be 'Peter' rabbit hops - no idea why I said bunny at the last moment.....but by the point I realised there was no way I was rerecording it again haha

My favourite film to date Dave . A wonderful film production packed full of images , great info , passion and stunning drone footage. I can only begin to imagine how much time and effort went Into this one and been looking forward to watching after my awesome trip to Porto (the result being the only disappointment ☹️) Great choice of locations and thank you so much for being offered the chance to partake and also for the very very kind words !! Splendid piece from Paul also and overall quality was just amazing. Cracking video and a thoroughly enjoyable watch . Fallen behind a little with photography and vlogs recently with my trip to Cornwall where the weather gods were against me and then straight out to Portugal so going to be another miss on a release this week- off in the caravan on Thursday for another break and maybe some photography but hope to be back on track soon !! Great stuff and well done on this one ten times over 👏🏻

Thanks Andrew, and thanks again for taking part in it, really appreciate your time in helping me pull this together. Shame about the result in Porto for you but sure you had a blast out there anyhow. I'm actually off in a caravan for a week myself into West Wales so not sure if I'll have anything to upload for a couple of weeks.....we deserve a break from it every now and again though surely. Hope you get some cracking weather on your trip - it's been a lovely few days that's for sure, let's hope it lasts. Have a great weekend :)

  • @VintageInsightPhotography

This is really well put together, Dave. I like the split screen multi-views and how you’re using your drone shots - both beautiful and informative.
Very enjoyable to watch and experience. Sharing these two excellent photographers almost makes me wish I wasn’t already subscribed to both so I could subscribe anew.
The info you present is both through and easy to understand. Again, well done. Oh- stunning photos too!

Thank you James, yes a labour of love on this one. It has been a few months in the coming. All three of us were in the midst of our Covid haircuts when the recording was (mostly) done. Appreciate the feedback very much, sometimes tough to know where to draw the line between not enough info and far too much, so thanks for your comments :)

Nice one Dave, I enjoyed the broadcast style going on in this. It's a really comprehensive guide and will be very useful for a lot of people. You've made me aware of quite a few locations around the UK and I'm sure I will head up to the Tarns at some point too. Great guest appearances from Paul and Andrew - a lot of high calibre photography throughout from those two as well as your own. Think my fave was at 21:27 Jolly good stuff. 👌

Thanks mate, appreciate it - hopefully it may inspire a photographer or two to head there and shoot at some point....I actually met a couple of photographers up on the Roaches in the PD who came over to me and said they recognised me from the previous one of these I did. Turned out they had watched it the night before and they were shooting one of my compositions! Very surreal but was rewarding to know that the numbers on YT might actually have some real people behind them. Meeting them certainly inspired me to make this. Thanks again Robert, I'll catch you over on your Snowdonia trip later today.

Well Dave, you certainly smacked that one out the park ! Great video mate really enjoyed that and the format , Great to see Paul and Andrew make guest appearances , two other channels i have followed for a little while now so was great to see. Showcased the lakes perfectly, great job mate !

Thanks a lot Lee. This took a while to do and almost gave up on it but glad I got there in the end. Hopefully it might inspire a couple of photography trips to the area for someone at some point. Appreciate it mate....you have anything due out soon? Know it's not always easy with work commitments etc

What a great production mate. Has to be called a production! I can’t imagine the time taken to plan, prepare, shoot edit and put this all together, from the content, broll, drone shots and the photography, editing and text work etc etc. Great work mate, perfectly done! Some stunning places there, I’d love to visit, from those lakes and mountains to the falls, looks great. By any chance are you linking these episodes to separate landscape photography workshops? Seems like a perfect fit.

    • @LetsClickPhotography
      @LetsClickPhotography  Před 3 lety +1

Thank you mate. Yeah this was a lot of work I must confess. Even harder than the one you helped out with because the Lakes are twice+ the drive. This area is a 4 hour round trip and I went three times to get it all, so all in all with editing planning etc I reckon about 70-80 hours total work put in.....so you can be sure that there will be a lot of one shot talking head videos coming up from me for a while haha. And yep you nailed it with the link to my workshops 😉 Thanks a lot Rauri 👍
