The sonic the hedgehog movie which was released in 2020 is one of the best video game movies ever made. But in the grand scheme of things that isn’t saying much. It is still a cheesy bad childrens movie made for kids and parents but we adults decided to watch this funny stupid gamer movie about sonic, Amy, shadow, tails, knuckles, egg man. At least Jim Carrey is good

1:15 Warp Rings have been a concept since Sonic 1 (you have to make it to the end of either Act 1 or 2 of a Zone with at least 50 rings for one to appear), and have reappeared in multiple games (Sonic 3&K, Sonic 3D Blast, and Sonic Mania come to mind immediately).

I honestly wonder if they've ever actually reacted to something they like. I assume they probably just make fun of it like everything else, though. Their strategy is actually pretty smart; they keep all of their opinions so ambiguous, so shrouded in irony, that nobody can really object to anything they say. I *think* I'm a fan of their content, but they do have a sort of "Schrödinger's Douchebag" energy

Eggman always has SOME kind of sidekick nowadays whether they be robotic or not so Agent Stone existing isn't unseen. Also, Ring Portals DO exist in the games (Because Special Stages) but them being portable and usable whenever is a concept from the old comics.

with the fall from the roof into the barn, its hard to say for certain, as the portal would've probably warped the physics, but I can say for certain that yes from their acceleration, they easy broke several bones even after landing in hay, and probably would've likely died. but we should probably just go by assassins creed logic, and they're fine.

This movie would have been remembered infamously for the rest of time, imbeded into meme culture just like Sanic, if they had stayed with the original design for Sonic. But I'm really happy they changed him. The sonic they gave is is so fucking cute, it's such a good rendition of the character we all know and love, I want plushies of him. It's good that they made this movie fun tho, cuz Sonic being adorable definitely makes this movie less memorial than if they had made him an abomination.
