Razzledazzleberry it’s Martin Blackwood from the Magnus archives. It’s a horror podcast told through recordings of a archivist at a institute that studies the super natural. It’s really great and I highly recommend.

God this is so good! the repetition of Martin doing the paperwork for Lukas and moving away from other people during the first guitar part and NOT being left alone for the second. The fact that no one else gets to be pictured fully at the part where season 4 is, TIM being here, and the really good expressions when they find the body and Martin's little mouth wrinkles and the way that the hands pulled apart when he was reading to his mother the GENTLENESS of being found in the fog I'm going to scream. What a good animatic thanks for working so hard on it and posting it!

Great job on this!!! I'm especially in love with the bit of instrumental from about 2:10 - 2:30 like. It really shows the rotations Martin goes through in season 4, pushing everyone away and alone in the office doing work. Absolutely marvelous

Martins entire arch gave me chills, I know it’s something not everyone loves but as someone who is lonely and has been for a long time, I really could relate, especially the episode where he describes his domain had me sobbing

So i was listening to a lil bit of Gilbert O'Sullivan (thank you for introducing me to him btw) and I KNOW it doesnt really suit the Martin's characterisation, but what a coincidence that the artist has a song named "Where would we be (without tea)" on the SAME album. Its a sign

Wow his hair turning white as his mom died really took me down. I always wonder why people draw him like that. Interesting how vague canon / fanon and ppl's imagined appearances weave together.
The Lonely tends to leave people faded and drained of color, Martin's Domain was was confirmed to be rainy and monochromatic so it would also make sense if his hair lost most of its color too. As for a lot of the plus size depictions that goes all the way back to when he was having trouble getting into Carlos Vittery's basement when he describes himself as "not the smallest of people"
