The fundamental problem with the humane AI pin or any "AI" hardware product is they aren't solving any problems people have. Before the first iPhone came out, personal assistant devices like palm pilots, portable game consoles like gameboys, point and shoot cameras, your "dumb" phone that could just call, text, and *maybe* play snake, etc were all separate devices. And while the iPhone didn't do anything better than those individual devices did at the time, it did all those things *good enough* to be more convenient than owning all those other devices at their various expensive price points. It was also the first main-stream consumer device to feature a capacitive touch screen and introduced the concept of an app driven eco-system to the market.
Meanwhile the AI pin does all the same things that can be done with a phone, but slower, less accurately and reliably, and features less overall functionality and usability. If all you're looking for is a device to give you basic information while being less distracting than a phone, smart watches exist.
Man you explained it all so perfectly my dude

So Windows 10 was the last operating system that MS would ever make and the last you'd ever need to buy and now if you don't upgrade to 11 you'll be forced to pay a yearly fee.
I guess so. I say, leave me behind then! 🤷♂

Hello, Im not sure who all will see this, but I am a former admin for the Suyu discord server, and am part of a new group made up of the former staff and developers that jumped ship from the project with the discord takedown.
I need to stress imperitavely that the pastebin note given at 5:50 is NOT a statement made as a group, it was issued as an independent statement by a single member (kksowo) against the wishes of the rest of the group.
I can confirm that a majority of the developers and all of the discord staff have left the suyu project, but any other claims made in that post are from kksowo and not from the entire ex developer group.
It's still sad to see the project being left at that. I really hope that the Yuzu legacy won't be forgotten so easily as Ryujinx isn't on par on the performance level even with Suyu.
Congratulations on keeping it up, and hopefully this only boosts some other platform that isn't Discord.
@@NiffirgkcaJ there are legal concerns with the original Yuzu code that are near impossible to confirm or deny the legal status of, so the majority of former staff and developers currently want nothing more to do with the code, and I would personally recommend against anybody else from working on a Yuzu fork.
@@cpufreak101 that's the issue though, that's just a rumour. Unless a definite proof is given that it uses Nintendo's SDK, until then, it's just a rumour.
@@NiffirgkcaJ the problem is that to prove it one way or another would require someone with SDK access to openly violate their NDA with Nintendo to audit the code, which understandably nobody's really willing to do. I don’t see the point in that AI pin. You can make an AI app for a smart watch and not make a different device

of course Riley wears a sweater and looks like a language arts teacher when he advertises for Grammarly.
Purely healthy criticism here: There was no disclosure for the Grammarly sponsored bit. It still sounded like an ad read so it was recognizable, but that was not immediately obvious because there was no disclosure. I know this could be a mistake, so I'm not really irritated. I'm just concerned, as something like this could develop into bigger issues if not disclosing sponsorships becomes a regular occurrence.
I love what you guys do though! I usually don't take time to comment so thanks for getting the news out regularly. I am so busy in college that this is about the only thing I have time to watch and usually it's while I'm getting ready for bed or doing laundry lol.
I think it needs to be seriously talked about how everything is moving to discord servers. They are not navigable or searchable. So much knowledge is plain inaccessible. This case also shows that there is no way to preserve this knowledge once a giant corporation decides it causes them losses. Atleast with forums you could have made backups
I wonder if people who support or listen to AI music feel uneasy about there being no soul behind the lyrics, no callused fingers behind the plucking of the strings, no breaths of air behind the vocals...part of what makes our music uniquely human is that it connects our real life experiences. AI cannot feel the emotion a parent feels singing to their child, nor can it understand the subtle push and pull of a pianist playing rubato--the culmination of an entire life's work, of every event in one's life, of every aspect of one's environment, results in a fleeting moment of beauty that can never be heard the same way again.
Support real composers, real musicians, support live music. Don't consume, experience.

In some countries like Denmark it is illegal to officially repair tech with refurbished parts. For a warranty repairs they require new parts as to give the customer the best possible quality
If it's a warranty repair then if should be OEM as it means the original part failed before it should have while being used within its intended parameters, but if an individual wants to make a repair outside of what the warranty covers, then it should be entirely their choice as to the source and quality they are willing to accept.
