Small correction: Emma Mærsk was an E-Class. The first Triple-E is called Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller.

One thing to keep in mind is that all those containers need to be loaded on trucks for shipment to final destination. So no matter how big the vessel ultimately the cargo ends up on a highway.

Very few trains go to final destinations. The cargo still has to go by truck to arrive at consignee.

Re the _"Evergreen Ever Alot"_ and it's dimensions... Why give the O.A.L. & width in _feet_ and the draft in _meters?_

Very nice presentation. Of course I would hate to be the skipper of such vessel's during war time. Sure would make a great target for sub commanders.

When I used to drive the 'ship to shore' cranes in the nineties the ships were a maximum of 13 wide and very rarely stacked higher than 5 high on deck. Now I've retired I can see these massive ships coming into port. Ever green, Maersk, msc, OOCL CSCL - awe inspiring ships
