But to each their own, i will however agree to Farcry's sound, but if the RS2 DShk had a little more umpf to its sound, then it would be pretty spot on

Also, i think the one in Black Ops 1 is not a DSHK, it's a different MG but i forgot the name of it
Mainly because it was only really utilized on the IS-2s and ISU self propelled howitzers, which both don't appear very often, or was used as another anti air machine gun along side the the quad Maxim emplacements, so it wouldn't see much frontline use in most WW2 first person shooter games. Plus, I think a Maxim gun would be better at sustaining fire for longer periods of time, because whether you hit them with a 12.7mm round or a 7.62mm round doesn't matter a ton, they'll still drop like a sack of bricks
@Ryan Yarnevich - It wasn't a DShK, it was a different 12.7mm machine gun made specifically for aircraft use, meaning it was lighter and fired slightly faster. If I remember correctly it was called the Berezin UB. Also, when I was talking about the difference between a 7.62 hitting someone and a 12.7, I was referring to use on the ground against infantry

I'm surprised no game (that I know of) has attempted to make a handheld DShK with a chainsaw grip, given how often they love to do that with the Minigun, and sometimes the M2 Browning.
I played Farcry 3 when I was 7 years old... I remember once I counted how many DShK shot needed to destroy a civilian vehicle, it was 12 if I remeber well.
