4:20 fun fact: tds actually did bring back the killing towers feature at one point, and it was during the lunar overture event. the hands from act 3 had an ability where they can select a random tower and crush it with their palm. ig no one really noticed it cuz of the bright lights and lack of care for the event itself, so i understand why.

As someone whos played and beaten every event, this is pretty solid, frost invasion was my favorite too, with halloween 2019 being a close second, only thing i dont really agree with is solar eclipses placement, i didnt enjoy that even very much, still pretty nice video :]

I keep on saying this, but- if they added 2 new things, those being: Lobby music: Change the lobby music to the current, or past lobby songs! Event playback: NO tower reward... and +joy :)

LO act 3 was the definition of good ideas bad execution. It had a lot of ideas and im a sucker for multi lane maps but it was horribly balanced and due to the exit being at the centre of all paths, setting up at the centre was like the only place anyone set up, reducing the replay ability of the act
I played every single event in tds history, and I personally would say that area 51 was the second most fun event, aside from solar eclipse. The whole thing was a breath of fresh air for early TDS, and it did a lot of things that affected future tds with the way they designed new enemies.
I still remember beating the Sword Fight in The Heights event and getting excited about getting the gladiator just to instantly stop using him after finding that soldier and minigunner spam was still just a better option than bothering with gladiator's existance
3rd is easter 2020 for me cuz of the impact it had on TDS first sponsered so it got huge amount of players 2nd is frost invasion quite hard but ehh not that hard but pretty good music and i like it 1st solar eclipse Best TDS event no doubt
I swear on everything I love, me and my 3 friends were the first people to beat act 3 of the lunar overture event. We beat it before it was nerfed and when it was “impossible”. We checked the badge page and besides the developers and testers we were the only people who beat it.
Bro I loved the duck hunt, the music, I liked the map, the enemies and skins were goofy, I loved the duck hunt. I didn’t care that there was no tower Also the trauma from act 3… I still get ptsd from the act 3 music

Halloween 2019 was pretty fun, and I remember really wanting the cowboy skin but not having the cowboy tower because I was a noob. I never beat it because I couldn't get a good team but even losing on it was still enjoyable

I honestly agree with the last event picks, i would rank all of them for nostalgic factor and most remember each one for a huge milestone i did... But my rankings would be 1. Solar Eclipse 2. Frost Invasion 3. Harvesting Season Harvesting Season: First event i ever played and was introduced to teammwork inside of TDS for the first time, i remember each one of my teammates organizing themselves to reach and kill the Reanimated, Necromancers, etc and i actually won one time with Military base lagging bug at the time and despite the constant bone chilling ost of the lobby i will applaud the battle pass rewards deapite being by far the longest battle pass ever (I got Ghost DJ and Cauldron out of it) Frost Invasion: THIS is where i started upping my grind because i shit you not, i got hella loy of stuff in this phase... I got my firat golden tower and acquired accelerator and got Bloxy Commander skin but of course, we cannot forget the event itself... DEAR GOD! I still remember checking the discord time to time and remember seeing the first leak of this event where it's so ancient that the map and concept was a one lane linear map, of course people got their mind blown upon seeing a 4 laned map with kick ass themes from both lobby and event itself, i remember getting chills from earing Frost's Spirits theme abd him spawning as soon as the beat dropped! Solar Eclipse: Man... I sometimes look back and i say "Jeez, as it really been 3 years since this happened?" And yes, i even cry a little about of how fast time passes, Solar Eclipse was the last thing that TDS needed to get out of the long event era and it needed it! The complete rework of the lobby, some towers and man... Who can't forget checking count down livestreams and in-game countdown for the next night to appear while everyone piled up in the statues... Everything from this event is awesome! Design, execution, themes and gameplay is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! And to think i or you played this at one point, goes to show hoe much TDS has come to be this very day... I still remember drooling over G Scout design tho...

(btw skins are the best in the game in my opinion)

Based for putting Frost Invasion in #1. That was the time I got back to TDS after quitting TDS on the first halloween event. It was fun abusing toxic gunner's op infinite slow on bosses, especially the freeze glitch you can do with freezer combined. Helped a ton when I was grinding for accelerator that time. Forgot to mention, I believe the mili base glitch also happened during that time, which made me got my first ever HC win. So IM really biased here but the whole frost invasion experience was REALLY FUN!

Me and my friend made a pact to grind out and 100% the next event lol, and yes frost invasion has to be the most memorable event for me because that's the event I figured out there were actual even towers for winning events even though I joined during the mega update. Me and my friend made a pact to grind out and 100% the next event lol, and yes frost invasion has to be the most memorable event for me because that's the event I figured out there were actual even towers for winning events even though I joined during the mega update. It also lasted forever and I managed to 100% that event and it was the only even I have 100%ed.

I never bet a single event other than the hunt and the classic. I played Christmas 2022 and 2023, however, I had the worst teammates so I quitted the game and came back in 2024
My first event badge was the 2020 Trick or Threat triumph when you beat lord sinister and I don’t think I ever got another badge since I just started playing the game in may again

Frost invasion was the event that was going on when i first joined but then i lost that first acc then i grinded on my alt but i recovered my first so i just use my alt for tds now

i do not miss frost invasion but i miss solar eclipse, and yes i do like umbra(not in a weird way), shes my favorite boss ever and i personally think it was the hardest event ever until strategies came out.
