I’m disappointed that this game isn’t more interesting I was looking forward to buying this.
The problem in my person opinion is that the core gameplay is just a bit too bland. The story is interesting, but playing through mediocre gameplay is a bit too much for me personally.
Sometimes a review isn't always right. I loved the game, i truly did...

Same. I bought it on Steam Early Access and saw it was an open world survival game and refunded it so fast. I was hoping for a game like Bioshock, not another survival game...

Milky Way it’s actually 50$ for PS4 on Amazon. I’m enjoying it even tho there are a few bugs
jacob alterman 40 hours of story?!?! That’s a lot of story! Personally haven’t played the game, but reviews I’ve heard about stated the same thing. Quality > quantity, although the word “quality” varies between people, as I heard a lot of people praising the story.
Although that isn’t what’s holding me back from buying it. From multiple people I heard there was game breaking bugs and severe FPS issues. I’ll get it once patches fix that.

You know, I feel like the price should be lowered down to $40. Either way, the game in general is great with it's story mode. Do I reccomend this game? Yes I do. But wait until the price is more affordable.

I personally love this game! Its the first game in years that has truly captured my imagination and attention it reminds me of how much fun I had when I played Fable. My favorite thing about this game is how great the storyline is, I would honestly give this game an 8.9 myself.

sonicbluray There's a trophy on the PS4 version called "Shocking Biology" for killing a person named Ryan Andrews. A shout out to its Bioshock predecessors as Andrew Ryan invented the underwater world of Rapture in the world of Bioshock.

PUNANI_SLAYER420 It's a $60 game. A 30 hour story is not enough. It's simply an absurd price when your typical indie survival game (that doesn't ditch the survival part) costs around $30 at launch. These games give you infinite replayability *and* story.
Just finished playing on the Xbox one. It is New Year’s Day and I’ve been playing since Christmas Day, it’s a very very lengthy game, the stories are actually very captivating and you get into them all, Arthur’s was my favourite but I was also enjoying Ollies right at the end too. My main issue with the game is there isn’t much different in each map, seemed like the same walls same floor, I would have liked to seen different character in each town. I couldn’t tell the difference other than being central and being in the gardens.
Maybe they'll do better now that Microsoft bought the studio? *thinks of Rare*. Maybe not.

Personally loving the game right now even on Xbox where the frame rate is dogshit at points, story is the main reason to buy this game. Too bad Gearbox got their grubby hands on the price tag, it's understandable why people are skeptical about buying.

Killjoy on Xbox it doesn't work properly because you always had We Happy Few. On PS4 it works fine. To be honest. All games on PS4 work fine.
Love this game. Made for fans of dystopian settings, particularly Brave New World and 1984. So may great references to these books and other media.
I love this game. I've been playing a couple days and you can see the bioshock/dishonored/prey/Deus ex/systemshock influence but with it's own identity just like each of those titles which are some of my favorite games ever.
yeah reminds me of Bioshock aswell, looks cool and on sale now

Some story missions require certain items like a keycard to continue and don't give you any hints how to get them. I had to look it up for 3 story missions because I had no idea how to get the item. I've given up now because I have another 3 story missions like that.
Just got the Deluxe Edition (includes season pass) of this game on PS4 for $30 CAD.
It definitely isn't a perfect game, but for that little? It's probably a no brainer for a lot of people. I hope I like it.
The Bioshock vibes are enough to get me through the front door.
2:16 gives me a No One Lives Forever vibe. Wish there would be a sequel in the near future.
Is anyone on console, specifically Xbox One, also experience the first-person control stick settings not feeling fluid? I'm experiencing a slower movement motion when moving the camera diagonally, up-left, up-right, down-left and down-right. Moving the camera perfectly horizontally or vertically work just fine. I've tried messing with the settings a multitude of ways, turning dead zone completely off, midway, and max. Same with the acceleration and the sensitivity.
Just started it, really great concept/story quite a few bugs still needs update. 60$ is a lot for it especially the way its shipping, but is is rather lengthy if your not into story telling much don’t buy it, but I’m enjoying it for now with Madden on the side until the fall games
I've been loving the game the combat is funny as hell when your on joy the dialogue is hilarious and witty the characters you meet doing quest are funny as well the game is pretty fun to be honest and the art style is beautiful
I just bought the game yesterday and i cant put it down. I actually really love it.
Is nobody gonna mention the horrendous load times 5 to 6 mins just to load the half assed world, also the game glitched out on me so many times everything from NPC's not appearing to everytime to buy something the items wouldn't load

I like to think we happy few crafted 3 stories to show what kind of a gamer u are. Arthur is the longest stories and the most detailed and newest, he is for casual gamers. Sally is for gamers who are finding enough enjoyment to play many more hours and Otis is for people who can't get enough of the we happy few universe. I think this game is awesome and even though it does have many problems, the story is so fun I found myself getting over the various problems

It's rare that I get my hands on a new game and then play it obsessively until 2am these days, but We Happy Few has robbed me of sleep for days now. It's not perfect, it's still buggy, but the story is fantastic and has so much potential for further storytelling. A gamer like myself deeply appreciates story driven single player games, especially in an environment where the best of the previous generation of single player titles are being stripped, ravished, and sent to walk the streets as multi-player games. I'm looking at you, Bethesda.

I think I'll be waiting for a sale on this one.
Looks like one of those high profile train wreck with great ideas that I one day would like to experience after a few patches and price drops.

Storylines of Sally and Ollie are a little bit too short compared to Arthur's. Hope there are free DLCs providing more characters to play with ... to compensate the loss of hours of gameplay. I wanna know what Percy is going on in Germany, and I also wanna know what happen to Uncle Jack lol

This really isn’t a bad game the only problem I had with is just the mechanics like it freezing, troubleshooting, or sluggish frame rate. Of those were gone wouldn’t care what anyone says about we happy few

IMO, this game's getting more hates then it should be. Personally I loved the game, the characters, and settings, the storyline, unique graphics etc..

The storyline was great however there was much filler, I wish the towns felt more realistic similar to Skyrim where each building you could enter. By the third act the large map just felt too boring the third time around. Great story, like no other, the mechanics just should have been redone. I wish it felt as brisk and realised as Dishonoured or Bioshock

I still dunno. Got it on game pass and its just a chore to do anything on the game. I feel like with these games it should be like a movie. In the game you spend so long doing bull that you forget the story plot. I recomend little nightmares. For me its short but a 10/10 game
