- With his age catching on, 74-year-old founder Mr Tay has passed the baton to his son. The veteran used to sell fried kway teow near the former Thong Chai Medical Insitution where a lot of tasty street food conglomerated. In 1989, he settled down offering chicken rice and curry noodle at Golden Mile Food Centre.
The stall's curry noodle is one of the best locally and is very popular amongst customers. What attracts them is the fragrant, rich and smooth curry gravy, tender chicken, Tau Pok and dried pig skin soaked up full with curry flavour.

Probably the best curry chicken in sg. Besides their famed noodles, their underrated rice itself is really fragrant without being too oily. And the chicken is poached gently in water thats barely simmer resulting in perfectly cooked chicken donees. The owners is a very friendly chap and I really enjoyed myself every time I go but las I heard from the owner the business have been a little quiet as of late. So its good to see local food channels giving hawkers a little push to encourage more business! Great video detailing the food again! :)

Yeah, there are a lot of other ingredients. Pig skin, tao pok, fish cake. a fulfilling lunch.
