I was a "guest" left seat driver in a Pan-Am D-7 back in 1990. My pals were check airmen, and took me for a ride (No passengers). I'm only a armchair pilot, and it was way cool!
Great video but you have to laugh when you see the word express beside Dash 7. Rumour has it that it is the only aircraft to have experienced bird strikes from behind 😉
I have never flown on a Dash 7, but took many trips in the jump seat of Dash 8s. I really trust that aircraft and I like the STOL capabilities of the Dash 7 with 4 engines.
Ive flown on both their Grand Caravan and Twin Otter but never their Dash 7. Seen a few parked at Wilson. Had breakfast in the hangar at Wilson twice. Last time in Feb 2011. Lots of GA traffic at Wilson.
Perdiest aircraft ever, and a very good job of presenting the cockpit, the Dash 7 has the nicest sound however, which I would have liked to hear better, lived near a place where they flew from when I was a kid, and just loved the roar of the Dash.... - Just if You make a sequel some day, very, very good job otherwise....;- )
Sure is a nice aircraft! Agree on the sound, but you wouldn't believe the sound problems I had this particular morning, so I am very happy with the end result, knowing my troubles. Next time though ;-) Thanks!
Wow such un amazing video (all the three)!! im sitting and watching with a tear of excitement dash-7 is a a big part of my childhood in Eilat area with a lot of flights with Arkia A special memory is my last flight by 4X-AHC with special fish livery in 2003 and my last flight by dash-7 in 2007 by 4X-AHH My wish to find a Dash-7 that still in nice condition- but where? thanks for sharing :)
I understand , but it's not easy having a camera in your face suddenly expecting you to do presentations.. It's not like they have had a chance to rehearse... Documentary at it's best 👍 I am happy they did their best for us 🤗

Dash 8's are Nice but the Dash 7 is a beast. You really should try to fly on it. Lovely!!
Love this! The dash 7 was my childhood as my dad flew on it for over 20 years in Colombia. Great times! Cheers!
