She probably got permission from the landlord to do that. Sometimes I would make permanent changes to my apartment that my landlord would approve.
It was made of styrofoam, she didn’t need that strong of an adhesive 😅😂
Because of this channel I have finally mustered the courage to buy my first power tools at age 45. Bought a power drill, impact driver, drill bits, laser level, and stud finder. I've charged the batteries, and my 18 yo son is going to be my assistant in my first curtain rod hanging endeavour tomorrow. Wish me luck! Also planning to hang a new screen door this summer and repair my deck...

FIRST- Rachel is incredible and I hope she realizes that our interest in seeing more of her is due to how genuine, stylish, fun, and skillful she always is during videos and she should be proud of her ability to just breathe out authenticity!!
SECOND- I just got an iPad for Christmas- FINALLY! And I've been doing future self journaling on notability, setting up my notion, etc... and it's really helped me get the push I need to commit to a morning routine and pull myself out of the funk I get into on breaks.
I've been working on building my digital art skills since I saved up for my first digital USB-plugin art pad when I was 12. While I was in undergrad and working through grad school I couldn't afford an iPad to organize my schoolwork and do art, and during the pandemic I had to use my iPad savings to build a desktop that could handle all the zooming and cloud work I was doing. Long story short I'm so happy they're making apple products more cost accessible and accessible for the needs of many users and I'm so happy to move into my professional career with that tool to help me stay productive and find a routine that works for me.
So happy to have more of Sorry Girls, Rachel's eclectic style is a perfect addition to the team! I love that similar to Becky and Kelsey, she leaned on creatively reusing, thriftng and DIYing for the makeover, that's the part I love the most about the sorry girls and it makes them different than any other channel 😭❤️

I have been bullet journaling digitally since last year--and while its definitely a different vibe, it fits into my life more. If journaling hasn't work for you, its just about finding what works specifically for your needs---like a checklist or the full amandarachlee.
If amandarachlee is a 10 then I'm at about a 7 on the scale of bujo 😂
What app do you use?
@@s-kimf.13 No apps. I use a Leuchtturm1917 A5 dot grid notebook. There's something about handwriting everything and scribbling and making mistakes and seeing your handwriting look different every day that's so unique. I'm a sentimental person so I keep all my journals and diaries and planners.

Setup:
-The basis for everything is PNG of an A5 sized page with the dot grid already in place.
-To design the pages I need, I use a mix of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
-If you didn't want to use any of those, I think the only "essential" app for set up would be something like ProCreate. I import the A5 grid page and then just draw what I need on top.
Day to Day Use
-I use GoodNotes. I create a notebook and then import my pages. I then just fill it out like a regular notebook. I have daily pages that just have task dump, priority, schedule sections. I fill this out daily at the beginning of my day.
Rachel being in the team EXTRA makes it more Sorry, Not Sorry Girls. Lol, I love it.

I haven’t gotten that far in the video yet, but want to add that I don’t do *resolutions* anymore; instead, I have *goals* to shoot for. A resolution is too easy to break; goals are something to work toward each day.
I’ve started saying aloud, “Well, is that choice moving you toward your goal? No, it is not. Gurl, you *know* what to do!” This is better than the “Ah, you dumbass! You failed again!!”
What a beautiful hallway! Amazing what organization, art and light can do for a space. I also want to share that I have become a fan of command strips to hang most wall art work. No holes in the wall to patch later on and easier to rearrange when the seasons or moods change.

Exciting to have a new Sorry Girl. Very brave of you to take over some videos, Rachel! I think the second part works a bit better than the first because the first feels like you're teaching us stuff while the second is just sharing your excitement about the DIYS and decorating. The vibe of the channel is more tagging along with the girls however their projects turn out rather than them teaching us how to live better, if that makes sense.
