Saying, that unemployment rate is high level, what you mean? Is it so difficult to get a job if someone wants to come to Cardiff for living? What about security job and in a hotel for example? What we know,is that there are not enough people for work in the UK? I personally have got a permission to work and plan to come to Cardiff soon!

This is the city I was born and raised in. The thing I love the most is how cosmopolitan it is. Everywhere you will hear different accents and languages being spoken. The wide range of restaurants is a benefit of this. I would love you to do a tour of The Museum of Welsh Life at St Fagans, Cardiff.

@@garethllewelynevans3553 It has nothing to do with politics. Welsh Gov made the decisions that have resulted in, mostly, small businesses closing and Cardiff looking destitute compared to a few years ago. Keeping the 2m rule for so long and businesses closed for longer than England crippled businesses and resulted in money that would have been spent in Wales spent in England instead (I live in Bristol so have seen it first hand).
I know at least 5 local business owners (friends and family) that said that the Welsh gov gave them very little support, late payments, and threatened with closure on a weekly basis.

I am from the city of Cardiff and this video is absolutely fantastic I love the fact that you remained quiet and you’ve put the subtitles at the bottom allowing the viewer to enjoy the many wonderful shops pubs clubs and restaurants that you happen to be passing.
As well as showing some of the great sites we have in the city centre. Please don’t forget to mention places like Cardiff Bay, Cardiff Museum, the big pit and Saint Fagans which are all fantastic places to visit. It’s also worth noting that museums in Wales are free for visitors to this great capital of ours. Thank you very much for this video it was fantastic! The people of Cardiff are indeed very friendly extremely helpful and they are bilingual so you don’t have to speak Welsh if you come here as a large majority of people also speak English perfectly well. Did you know that Cardiff also hosts the British Speedway Grand Prix once a year at the principality stadium. (Not since 2019 due to covid but we'll be back for 2022) It's usually the biggest event on the Speedway domestic calendar. On GP day Speedway fans fill the streets and the atmosphere is electric from mid morning when the fan zone opens, all the way through to the night after the meeting has finished. I definitely love Cardiff and can't wait to head back for the Speedway next year.

BUT - i never knew of all the history and the fantastic streets Cardiff has to offer. we walked mainly up Queen street to the Castle and id buy souveniers from those 2 shops on the corner opposite the castle. brought back so many memories. its been 10 years now since ive been to visit Wales, and i guess with Covid and travel restrictions - who knows when we can travel overseas once more. the Welsh are super friendly, so for now i shall look forward to more of your videos of Wales. thank you :)

I love just walking around Cardiff and taking time to look up and around, lunch in Barkers tea house and a boat ride down to the bay from the castle grounds.
There's a great deal more to Cardiff than this brief introduction, well done, just make it much longer.

@@sabaridas3221 Hi. Yes there are jobs for students in Cardiff. Many pubs and restaurants and cafes that hire students part time. Now we are not in the EU you might need to check about work permits. You can do that online.

I was there in October, 1991. Back then, there were no pedestrianized streets that I can remember. I stayed at a hotel on Mary Street, and visited the castle. My suggestion is take a guided tour. I would have missed so much. Another suggestion I could make is that there is a reason Brains SA (Special Ale) is nicknamed Skull Attack.

My dads family are from Wales. I would love to visit one day. I find it so interesting how all of the shops are basically on the street and there are a few shopping centres. Where I live we have specialty shops that are independently owned but the major stores are all in malls (big shopping centres)

@@GimbalWalkTV That's pretty much the norm in the UK, you have your high street with all your shops and a few adjacent shopping centres. There are retail parks like American Malls, but generally, it's all street level and outdoor shopping.
