Awesome, love when you get all the parts that haven’t failed yet replaced…only to fix faulty part at the end.
Honestly, your outboard is much better off now with all the new parts. 😁👍

Have exact same issue, even have the same motor! Unfortunately I replaced x2 coils, wires, spark plugs, fuel filter and have fresh fuel…and still have same symptom.. when near WOT struggles to get onto high RPMs…messed with choke to see if it was needing fuel but made no difference…it would actually bog due to running rich with choke, I pulled carb off and didn’t notice anything clogged or out of ordinary. Went as far as pulling reeds off…they look fine I guess? Made out of metal…rubber seal looks good…not sure at this point?

Thanks for watching, sounds like you’ve been busy. Bummer to hear you’re still experiencing issues.
The next likely cause is either contaminated fuel, or a carburetor that needs to be rebuilt or replaced all together.
Looking forward to hearing back from you. Keep us posted. 👍

@@DIYwithMichaelBorders alrighty man..here’s the verdict: so I had previously done a lot of work to it with no remedy to symptom..I pulled reed block (located behind carburetor) (for those who may not know) the gaskets looked very worn/brittle and not sure if it was already cracked or it cracked when I pulled reed’s off to inspect, I couldn’t find the gaskets for it so I bought a paper gasket set from Advanced Auto and traced original gaskets, put everything back together took out to the lake to test and BAM! Problem fixed!! I highly suspect it had a vacuum leak due to brittle old gaskets at reed block/cover. Another good thing to note is I also replaced all fuel lines with automotive fuel hose, It previously had the silver fuel hose you typically find on Walmart fuel kits etc. I did inspect those hose’s prior to work since they are known for the interior plastic liner degrading and clogging. But just of peace of mind and durability ended up replacing all fuel lines with automotive grade hoses. Hope this helps someone 👍🏽

I have a xr6 and will bog out during takeoff. I shut her off and she takes off fine but once gaining speed she starts bogging out again. Shop said it was fuel pump so I had that changed but still bog out

Good morning ☕️ any update? Have you replaced spark plugs and wires? If so, we recommend removing any dielectric grease from plugs and boots to see if that helps.
Too much to electric grease and plugs will work against you, as it will degrade engine performance.

@@DIYwithMichaelBorders I am changing out spark plugs this weekend and going to check my coil packs I started off with changing fuel pump but that did not solve the issue.

Tell the shop to give you a deal on the coils for giving you bad advice on the fuel pump.😡
