I have said this before and I will go ahead and say it again which is the fact that this movie demonstrates the colorful and sunny optimism of the 90s which was the result of the Soviet Union breaking apart near the end of 1991 and how people suddenly felt more happy and carefree as a result because suddenly the threat of Nuclear War between the United States and the former Soviet union was now a thing of the past seemingly as that event is what brought the cold war to an end!

Actually it was a Warner Bros movie and for the life of me I couldn’t understand why this hasn’t been on Netflix or even HBO MAX by now.

Never new this was a surfer stereotype. I always knew x-game athletes like aggressive incliners, BMXers and skateboarders had the "tough" reputation. But surfers? I always thought surfers were viewed as chill, feminine, pretty boys from the sunshine state.
