I had 18 surgies on my neck and back. I wait until I absolutely cannot handle the pain and the numbness in my feet. I look forward to getting up under for surgery because it's the only time I actually get good sleep in the last 10 year's since I was hit by a drunk driver and broke 6 in my neck and 15 in my back. Trying to stay awake after they give the meds is always fun because I'm focusing on that and not the bad things that could happen during the surgery.

You must’ve never had surgery. It’s not scary when it happens, by the time you take a second breath you’re out cold. And sometimes they give you anxiety meds beforehand. Drugs are fun.

Got breast augmentation last November and getting comfortable was the hardest specially at night like 4 am
1. Use a neck pillow like the plane travel ones
2. make sure to keep her butt over i memory foam pillow or something because she will numb completely at times
3. Try to keep a small pillow under your knees
4. Keep something under her heel even another memory foam pillow. I never even thought of having any pain there but it got me
4. Elevate her arms, her shoulders and back will def get tired of they hang.

And don’t worry about the pain killers and muscle relaxers. I litterally did not take them the first 5 days and my doc asked how I was feeling and he told me to take them . Made a huge difference. Plus I don’t typically drink or do drugs which you seem like you don’t. So these comments of addiction are uncalled for . It’s all for comfort . 2 weeks of recovery gets tough

At 4:20 that white foamy looking stuff they put into the IV is called Propofol. It's the best 5 second feeling ever and recovery time with that stuff is extremely fast, which is why they use it

Maybe it’s different when you’re the one getting surgery idk lol but I don’t remember going out that fast during my surgeries. I always remember laying on the table and then they start putting the anesthesia in my iv and let me tell you it always burns me as it goes in, I always start crying from the pain and it takes a while for me to be knocked out. Like usually they say count back from ten? They don’t say it for me but I could easily make it to ten and a couple seconds longer. Last time I tried to fight it to see how long I’d last but like I didn’t even feel anything for a while the room just started spinning and I didn’t like that lol so I closed my eyes and after a few seconds I was out. Every single time without fail I have to pee so bad when I wake up! Must be the iv fluids haha

Get rest Brit and you will be much better within 5 days it does take a month to fully heal. Make sure to take it easy try not to move your arms. Roman is an amazing husband standing by your side. Love you guys safe recovery Brit xo love your family!
