She killed it. I've watched all the WHCDs and she's near the top. Solid writing material that was relevant and didn't use the rehash "cspan" and "Hilton" targets. Knew when to take appropriate pauses for impact and barely used any notes. The order and transitions of the jokes were masterful for any standup act.

I've watched this many times and finally got the joke about Nancy Pelosi sending both Prez and Biden out together to get a burger. That was cold.

Nancy Pelosi was Speaker of the House at the time. If both the President and the Vice President become incapacitated, the Speaker is next in line to the office of the President. With that in mind, the joke is that by encouraging Obama and Biden to go out together Nancy Pelosi's motives can be construed as sinister, especially as she was a known Hillary supporter

blognewb the joke isn't that they would be incapacitated by eating burgers lol the joke implies that them being together in the same public space like that was risky in the sense that there could have been an attack on them (terrorist or otherwise) hence the Nancy Pelosi mention - if both of them were killed or incapacitated she would be next in line. Usually the president and vice president aren't very often in the same place at the same time, flying in the same plane etc for safety reasons.
People remember Wanda was an NSA agent.. so her jokes are based on understanding of the federal government..so sometimes she would say things that normal people may not understand

We were so disappointed. First time in years we attended a show there and the comic was straight up sub-par.

I think this performance is a little stiff. That is a very difficult crowd to play to. They have to think before they laugh. This is not a crowd that can easily be themselves and laugh at something that could be construed as inappropriate. Wanda is real trooper and pro.

Just viewed this in 2017 :-) Wanda is great! This is a really difficult crowd and she did very well, got much more laughs than some of the others (mostly guys), who followed her.
