    I'm having an issue when copying over the tracker, I know you're only supposed to copy the tracker sheet and the forms will automatically copy, but every single time I try to copy it over (the 2.2 version), only either the expense form will copy or the income form will copy ): idk what the problem is

    You can also copy and paste the conditional formatting from another cell! :) Just copy the cell which includes the conditional formatting and paste formatting to your selection. (You need to click "paste format only" or something from the dropdown that comes up while pasting.

    Hey Deborah! I really loved your exoense/income tracker. I used it mostly as the end of 2021 and decided to follow throught to the new year. Unfortunately, after downloading the new version and following your steps, I ran into a small issue and im not sure if it related to your programing or if its something on my side. So im just throwing this out there to see if you know anything. The issuse is on google sheets or docs when trying to delete your examples off your template, a lot of the the tools are greyed out and I cant really edite anything. Please if you know anything or have any ideas, I would appreciate it! Thanks Jon

    hii this is so so helpful! i was wondering if there is a way to adapt this to work for my partner and i. ideally we would input our expenses to the same sheet, but have separate sheets for our dashboards. another problem is for expenses that need to be split - probably a separate sheet for those... is it possible to write SUMIFS statements with multiple criterion?

    Is there a way to put your fixed expenses in once so you don't have to enter them every month?

    • @shiinari2869
      @shiinari2869 Před 3 lety

      You can manually enter them in the responses excel sheet (The one with the timestamps). So instead of going through the form you just type it in as you would regularly and copy it over 12 times (for monthly expenses)
      So normally you'd see this:
      TIMESTAMP | DATE OF EXPENSE | EXPENSE CATEGORY | HOW MUCH YOU SPENT |
      17/12/2020 20:34:11 | 07/12/2020 | Misc | $8
      But you can IGNORE the TIMESTAMP column and do this:
      DATE | EXPENSECATEGORY | HOWMUCHYOUSPENT |
      07/12/2020 | Misc | $8
      07/01/2021 | Misc | $8
      07/02/2021 | Misc | $8
      07/02/2021 | Misc | $8
      ....all the way till when you please.
      Definitely useful for predictable and consistent expenditures like phone plans/internet bills/gym memberships etc. Bit of a setup process at first but you'd only need to do it once a year (hopefully haha)
      Hope this helps!

    hey Im getting a few bugs that I have no idea how to fix. For starters I had an issue while using it were things i added in via the google form would sometimes duplicate. this only happend a few times, so i went in and manualy deleted them, but since then when ever i add things in via the google form it skips a line sometimes leaving random gaps, it dosent affect it but it dosent look as nice. this has also seemed to transfure to the new google sheet, where it will start writing the data on the 10th line insted of just starting from the top?
    i really loved this expence tracker and have been using it since august religiously and would love to use it in 2021 I just am really struggeling to set it up properly!

    • @debbbag
      @debbbag  Před 3 lety

      Delete the whole row, not just the data in it, I think Google does that to prevent any overriding of data.
      As for the duplication thing, I think it's a bug with Google sheets and forms so you'll have to contact Google about that when it happens because it's never been an issue for me but has for a couple of other people (I can't troubleshoot it because it seems to only affect a handful of people 🥺)

    • @debbbag
      @debbbag  Před 3 lety

      If you have a handful of gaps, just delete all of those rows, it won't affect your data :)
