Best game so far this year. The monstrous Bruins facing a challenge from their biggest rivals, both goalies were ON, important hard-working goal by Gally. Fast, hard game. Thanks to both teams for that one!
They were excellent in Vegas too, and a good win in Detroit too! Imagine if Dach were playing and developing with the team too

That 5 on 3 PK by the Habs was the best thing I've seen all year
Have you not seen boobies?
Now that was a classic Gally goal
It was like a playoff game, super intense
"BOS in MTL...Saturday night...the very essence of what NHL hockey is! Even their uniform's color schemes clashes fantastically!"
These Habs kids are fun to watch. And Matheson can SKATE😮😮 Also in a perfect world, we will have this commentary duo call every game. John and John are top tier
Ya Matheson has such a smooth stride!
As a Bruins fan this was what I wanted out of a Canadiens game. Overtime and exciting, high quality hockey! Hope we can get the win on home ice for the rematch.
Very entertaining game indeed.
Same to you. I’m just glad we finally won lmao
They really need to fix the playoff format. Could you imagine a Cup Final between rivals like this?
Was wicked ahhsome. Like a woam boawel of clam chowdah and cold glass of sam adams lagaahh!
This was a playoff type of game!
These Habs are elegant, smooth, AND Tough ! ! !
This will be a Great Season ! ! !
As a Bruins fan I gotta say Pezzetta might be the most underrated player in the game.
They don't call him the Sex God for nothing
@@ro.a6551 The what now?

he's a stiff.
He’s been slowly improving his game and fits his role nicely and I think it goes unnoticed. He’s got them crazy eyes but I always respect the effort he puts in each game!!
As a leafs fan who caught the last couple minutes of ot I dont think I’ve ever cheered louder for a habs goal
i mean always good to see a team win when its against the bruins lol
Try hoping for your leafs they are brutal lol GHG
@@raoul3646 yes but Boston vs Mtl is probably the biggest rivals in the NHL so I see why hes saying that
@issacyoung2709 as a habs fan I watched the leafs 2nd period. The Canucks are on fire so it was nice to see T.O put that flame out tonight
@@djvic4u yea ofc
Hey Bruins fans, Habs fan here. We need more of these rivalry games! This was great. Well played to your guys! Cant wait for the rematch!
This was a playoff type of game. For the most part the refs let them play. Its always fun when the Habs and Bruins play. Specially when the Habs win :D
As a Bruins fan, I agree. This game had the energy of some of the great games back when this rivalry was really intense from 2008-2014.
Just came home from the bell center. I’ve watched numerous games and the atmosphere tonight was one of the best!!
Same the bell center was buzzing!!!
It’s extremely fun to experience, even for me as a Bruins fan. I’ve been to several Bruins-Canadiens games in Montreal and that was the most intense game and best atmosphere since the one in 2011, where the Habs also coincidentally won 3-2 in overtime.
Beautiful hit by Pezzetta
Probably one of the best games I have ever watched that was the real NHL! Congrats Habs u earned it!
Was at the game what a night!! Even the fans were chirping eachother lol Always love when the bruins are in town, great rivalry!
I'm not even a hockey fan but oh my god what an exciting match to watch live
That 5v3 HABS defence was the best thing ever!
Love how they 'boo" every time the Bruins Captain, Marshand, touches the puck. Goes to show just how amazing he is!
I am impressed with Cole Caufield's play so far this year: he has 5 goals and 9 assists for 14 points in 14 games. He and Nick Suzuki were put on separate lines to balance the scoring. Great adjustment from Head Coach Martin St. Louis. I'm sure they'll be back together in Montreal's next game.
He’s not great 5 on 5 but anything else and he’s incredible. Plus he’s been surprisingly good defensively.
he might be a better playmaker than a goalscorer. his vision, skating, and passing are kinda similar to matt barzal honestly.@@politicalbandwagon4989
@@politicalbandwagon4989 He has struggled 5 on 5 this year but he was #1 5v5 goals for a while last year so its somewhere lol
Thank you guys for doing something the Leafs can never do. Beat the Bruins. - Leafs fan
This was an amazing game to see in person. As a Bruins fan it’s always fun to go up to Montreal to see them play, but this game was definitely the best between these teams in many years.Easily one of the more intense regular season games I’ve been to. Even though the Bruins lost, I’m still glad I was there. This game reminded me of my first game at Centre Bell back on January 8 2011. A super intense game where Montreal won 3-2 in overtime as well. As the Habs improve I expect to see many more games like this between these two teams in the next few years. Go Bruins!
SPECTACULAR OT GOAL 🔵⚪️🔴
GO HABS GO 🔥🔥🔥
2 goals in 27 seconds… glad I watched the 3rd period and stopped halfway through the 2nd!
A game to Remember on Rememberance day.
i switched feeds, just to hear the boston commentary whine and cry! lol Go Habs!
@@jimhofoss9982Lol! And I love how Marchand took a penalty for “unsportsmanlike conduct” 😂 he should get more of those!
Honestly overall this was just a damn good hockey game

well deserved win…nail-biting game, good to see everyone skating hard, and some nice physicality in the Habs game, even Slaf looked good! Whoop! Go Habs! The best rivalry in the nhl is back!

Love watching this group of Montreal Canadiens!
Habs haven't been the same since Kirby Dach went over the boards and out for the season.
Gotta love those uniforms!
Best team in Canada
Clear and simple
as a fan of neither of these teams . I love watching habs and bruin games.
Love 3 on 3 pond madness 😂🇨🇦🔥
Did Montreal finally found their #1 goalie? He's clearly the best of their 3. Allowing 2 goals against Boston (11-1-2) is a pretty good proof.
Montembeault really started to find his game towards the end of last season. Seems like he picked up where he left off and if this is his new form he's elevated himself to a starter role
Montembeault is not a #1 goalie and as been soft since the start of the season.
Where the hell is Carey Price, will we ever see number 31 play for the Habs again?
no@@davidhart1118
@@davidhart1118 no, his knee is done, he'll never play again.
Super exciting highlights! Love the spirit of the Montreal fans.
Montembeault kept the Habs in the match, Gallagher's playing out of his mind, Anderson seems to struggle on any lines tonight, Caufield's still a PPG Player, Guhle cementing himself as a top D in the league. What a great night for MTL Local Sports Fans: The U of MTL Carabins won the RSEQ U-Sports cup, The CFL Club reaching their first final since 2010 against Winnipeg. They also won the last cup the same year, The Habs got an overtime winner at 2:47 left to go from Kaiden Guhle. Extra: Celtics defeating the Raptors, it's the nearest market in the NBA and Bennedict Mathurin scoring over 20 points in back to back matches for Indiana. MTL Sports Fans would never cheer for the Jays, Leafs, and the Raptors, outside of the Big 4, the CFL and MLS Football Club. Yes, I know the MLS and CFL aren't mainstream leagues, but still.
I love these two guys best commentary ever
Habs are alot of fun to watch
Slaf should replace Anderson on PP and OT. Anderson is making everything worse and Slaf has been looking at least 10x better since playing without Anderson.
Uh... Did... Did you... Did you watch the ot goal? I like slaf but Anderson got the primary assist lol
Тебя нужно поставить главным тренером канадиенс. Я свяжусь с руководством клуба 😂

What a character win - we all know how systematic and good the Bruins are, this took a lot of heart work.
Monty and Primeau’s success also means maybe a good tandem, Allen has done his job and we can, and must let him go.
What a game! Go habs go
Chemistry is something off our charts 😄😎🇨🇦🇺🇸
Great call by John Shorthouse, the TV PxP voice of the Vancouver Canucks on Sportsnet. He had John Garrett and Dan Murphy with him and this could be some nostalgia for Canucks fans.
I thought that was John Garrett with him. Man, Garrett has been doing this forever. One of the best.
Yes. That was him.
Pour une équipe en reconstruction mmm déja capable de battre les meilleurs, plutot prometteur.
A great goalie duel. Habs are hopefully playoff bound this year. How sweet would it be to see Montreal sweep the Loafs in the 1st round!

No. Just no. One game can be close. This young MTL team plays boston in a 7 game series its over in 5, 6 at max and that's pushing it.
@@k-dubsbeatbox8843 Just like Boston was supposed to beat Florida in 4
@@macrost8935 lol so we're just gonna ignore the fact the Krejci Bergeron Lindholm Swayman and Ullmark were injured for the entirety of that series? And stop acting like Florida should've been a walk. They rolled Toronto and swept Carolina. They're a team built for the playoffs and would've put Vegas through hell if they didn't get rolled by injuries themselves. But I'm not stressing, Boston is a contender as long as we have McAvoy Carlo Pasta and Swayman signed. Montreal will be lucky to see the playoffs by 2027. imagine, Boston has 4.5M less in cap space than every other team due to bonuses and still top of the league. Ik y'all are bigggg mad 💀
@@k-dubsbeatbox8843 I know florida was gonna, but they were supposed to be a walk lmao, injuries happen, montreal has had most of their best guys injured the last 2 seasons, this year injuries arent quite as bad even tough Dach is out for the year, but no need to be that angry lmao, montreal are currently in the hunt and to me barring injuries they make the playoffs next year
@@k-dubsbeatbox8843you do know every team has injured players during the playoffs right? That’s not an excuse you still should’ve mopped the floor with florida but choked almost as bad as Toronto in 2021. You also sound madder then we are judging by that comment 😂

GO HABS GO. would had love to see xhekaj destroy marchand but i still love it
I would’ve too as a B’s fan
Man. Anderson wouldn't be able to hit a soccer net right now. He is just shooting with his eyes shut.
He can't finish. He should go back to crashing the net using his speed and size
@@kingstown3543 Not sure what his problem is, because he's getting plenty of great looks, and it drives me crazy to see a player of that caliber who should be scoring with some of the slot shots he's getting and just can't seem to put one in at all. I'm not saying he's playing bad. Last night he played well enough from what I saw. But he should be scoring. That's his job. One or two goals once in awhile is huge in the big picture! They need him to find his confidence in his shot accuracy or decision making or both, whatever it is.
First victory over Boston since November 5, 2019, and definitely up there with the Vegas game as one of the best the team has played this season. All of the forward line combinations looked good, too, which a lot of people were skeptical of.
Nice that Gallagher seems to have drank of the Fountain of Youth some time after the first couple of games, this is the best he's played probably since his midseason injury in 2021.
Do. Not. Touch. That. Line!
Damn it's been 4 years since they won against Boston???
@@clearzyyisbadIt's not quite as bad as it sounds since they obviously didn't play against each other in the COVID bubble season, but yes, it had been ten consecutive losses before this.

The Bruins are so hard to beat. They just do not give you very much of anything. And they keep it up for 60 plus. Habs elevated their game a lot tonight and it still took OT. But they deserved it. The penalty kills on both sides were outstanding with each team getting one PPG. All that hard work to win and the Bs still get a point.
