I didnt know this existed untill now, and honestly as a fan of SMG4 with lots of questions, yeah, you've got a new sub
i dont think smg4 is like an assistant to mr puzzles, but he is certainly an relevant character to him, because in the new episode mario mysteries, all the principal character were transformed into objects or animals, unlike smg4 that is still on his normal form, plus the camera is always following him and ignoring the other characters, the proof of it is when smg4 is walking to the kitchen, mario gets pushed by the invisible wall of the camera.
So if the smg4 universe is truly a "show" then what exactly is the deal with previous arcs, specifically the flash drives all of the SMGs. Also, remember that Luke downloaded a super Mario 64 emulator and the flash drives spawning essentially created the goofy characters we know and love. I don't quite get how that fits into the puzzle. To me it feels like the universe is a simulation running inside the emulator. If it really is just a show controlled by puzzlevision, then where do the previous arcs fit in?
This is quite an easy to answer question. In a logical manner, it would make sense that Puzzlevision didn't exist back then (Cosmology Saga). But now he does. It's really complicated, but I'm sure the upcoming SMG4 movie will explain it in due time.

I'm honestly wondering the same thing...
There's one giant flaw with this, though. You must assume all meta jokes about the series are simply that: jokes. However, there are far too many instances where this is shown, most notably with Sunset Paradise. The Meggy livestreams are canon, and she watched herself be recorded in the 10th Anniversary movie. She also acknowledged the existence of arcs, both in Lawsuit and Mario's Tunnel of Doom. The biggest piece to show this is the Sunset Paradise poster in SMG4's room. He could only have that if he were profitting off his own friends' struggles. Even the CZcams Arc doubles down on this with SMG3 copying SMG4's content with his crew, meaning there must be some element of recording going on. Now, you could argue that Puzzlevision is forcing problems to create content, but SMG4 is known to force others to make it as well, notably Mario in the Genesis Arc and as recently as this very day with MDTs. In The Watermelon Man, we see Luigi clearly be forced into something he doesn't like, too. In the elevator episode, SMG4 is super upset about his video getting demonetized (which is an MDT, proving that further). Any criticism of Puzzlevision for his actions must be applied to SMG4 as well. Also, given how SMG4 was possessed during IGBP, we could assume that is why Puzzlevision came back. Rather than have a perfect video made for himself, he used the actual people instead as revenge. It would explain all the stupid stuff in that movie I guess, but still leaves an awful impression in the end.
As I have stated in the video, this topic also goes to show the Puzzlevision is the media industry taking over the SMG4 channel. Yes, the suffering of the characters might be because of SMG4, but his motive of doing that is because of the media industry: for money.

Mini theory: His whole shtick is entertainment, which he usually accomplishes by corrupting other people with ,,gifts'' of unknown origin. May I remind people of the first arc? In short, I wouldn't be surprised if it would be revealed that Mr Puzzle was there from the start.
What about the God Box or the scenes that are outside the SMG4 show (usually the GLITCH presentation room)....

I'm also thinking the same thing. I feel there is some semblance of a connection to the God Box, given that the entirety of the Puzzlevision stuff so far has a thematic and/or literal tie to the idea of "perfection".
'It's Gotta Be Perfect' is self explanatory. 'Western Spaghetti' had an antagonist that wanted a "perfect" world in the form of something akin to an "infinite splatfest". 'WOTFI 2023' had Marty where the first voiced line in the tank scene (where Mario came up with Marty in the first place) was "You're not perfect".
Every major event in this Puzzlevision saga has at least a thread that connects to the idea of perfection. The God Box is really the only major loose thread in the Cosmology Lore Saga, so it really does feel like there's a genuine connection between the 2 "sagas".

good theory, but i doubt that’s why mr puzzles aka puzzlevision called their world a show, i personally believe they instead just see the cast and their world as nothing but entertainment rather than actual living people with real feelings. i think this is just a case of sadism, and that they twist the world into a show of some sorts to entertain themself and possibly the viewers too. still very well made though! this is just my take, i can still see this working out in canon :)

Combining therories from both vids here, I don’t think smg4 is working for puzzlevission, I think bookings is. It’s far fetched but it could make sense logically since Boobkins is voiced by Kevin, the ceo who is making the cash. Looking back to it’s gotta be perfect bookings was the only one not even atempting to fight the red stuff, not like he could do much but he did not even attempt to fight.

What if puzzle vision is an entity like "Hell" from "Ultrakill" and "AM" from "I have no mouth and I must scream".
An "imortal" powerfull entity that finds entertainment in the suffering of others.
AM hates humans and thats why he tortures the last 5 humans on Earth, and Hell is a literal super organism that was made to torture the sinfull, but became so powerfull that not even God could stop it.
