Just to let everyone know: This episode was released *before* the Mario Mysteries episode. That means that we didn't know that his name was 'Mr Puzzles' at the time.
Another episode got dropped off. It’s called “Once in SMG4” and the scene of the fairest contest when SMG3 is about to make the wish he says “I wanna get outta here” and then Mr. Puzzles pops off and says it was a “technical difficulty” do you think that he trapped SMG4 and his crew?

Hey! Love this theory, but there is actually a Canon reason why the characters don't die, and that's because Mario, is the avatar of the universe, and if he dies, then everyone dies aswell. The closer you get to Mario relationship wise, the more plot Armour you get, therefore preventing most characters from dying! But some weren't as close, for example Axol or Desti, leading to their deaths. But since characters like SMG4 and SMG3 are closest to Mario, they and Mario himself are practically immortal, therefore preventing them from death. Just thought I would share this with you, but other then that I love the theory! :D

I love your video! The theory according to which Mario, SMG4 and SMG3 were kidnapped is for my part rather proven, and I have a theory about a future episode explaining this. The episode called *_"Chaining On Yourself"_* will have a scriptwriting approach similar to that of "Trust No One" in which there would be a hostage situation, and supernatural events are against the Showgrounds. Mario, SMG4 and SMG3 suspect each of them and will point out who is the real culprit. A good half of the episode has passed, and we gradually learn that the three friends do not have the same characterizations as usual. By the end of the episode, everyone would actually be guilty. The moral itself of the episode will be like: “Be wary of certain people” “Appearances can be deceiving”. This is just my theory! ;)

Is SMG4 truly only helping Puzzlevision while being controlled ?
There's still this strange door that leads to god knows where in the castle's ground floor, and the way SMG4 spoke about seemed to imply he knows what's behind but doesn't want people to go there. Maybe it's Puzzlevision behind that door.
And in the latest episode when I'm making this comment, Puzzlevision appeared physically within the castle's basement, so maybe he does reside in the castle, behind that mysterious door.
While not much is known about Puzzlevision, so far, I'd say he's definitely an allegory for temptation

Yeah it’s pretty obvious that SMG4 just has control of his friends and the settings of his episodes and puzzlevision just has control of everything else
I think that Mario is the one that works with PuzzleVision bc in each episode he keep getting smarter and smarter and in the new episode (possibly the beginning of a new arc) at the end everyone are shocked but for some strange reasons we can't see Mario's reaction

If one smg4 character dies next episode he/she will be alive but the question is why old smg4 characters like X or FM not in the show anymore?

1:37 ringmasters wear *top* hats 🎩 whereas Puzzlevision is wearing a *bowler* hat.
I don't know much about that specific type of hat but I often see them worn by businessmen from the 1920's and 30's.
This aids in the reddit theory that says he dates back to the origin of television (1936)📺 which would make him *very* old.
But if he's 88 years old why did he copy Blues Clues which came out in the late 90's? Not to mention he looks pretty lively but that might just be because he's non-human.
Winston REALLY intrigues me. Above all, I can't wait to finally discover his true intentions, and above all WHY is he putting the gang through all this? We really ask ourselves the question
Yeah, I love the sense of mystery he exudes compared to the other arc/saga villains. We don't know where Winston came from, what his motives, are, what he's truly capable of, whether he was made by someone or not, and why he's targeting the crew. It honestly makes him creepier than the previous villains. At least ones like Francis, Lawyer Kong, Waluigi, and Niles had some context as to who they were and what their motives were. Winston on the other hand? We don't know anything about since he prefers to work from the shadows and corrupt people into carrying out his plans.
Even his design is intriguing too since it perfectly captures the term 'uncanny valley'. Everything about him is so... off to put it in words. Winston's design just stands out heavily compared to the other characters. Most of the other SMG4 characters have colorful, complex anime looks full of life. Winston doesn't have any of those. His smoother cel shaded texture, deranged movements, simplistic humanoid body, minimalistic color scheme honestly make Winston look more like a character from Digital Circus or a 90s western cartoon (i.e. Ren and Stimpy or Cow and Chicken) in contrast to the other characters more anime inspired looks (I'd even Say Winston also looks more like a character taken straight from TADC or a Vivziepop show with his more simplistic yet uncanny body, deranged movements, and smoother cel shaded texture). I mean that in a good way because it creates a sense of mystery around him even more. You kinda get what I mean?
As much as I like Winston, I kinda hope that aside from a multiple choice past he gives, we never learn anything else about him (Winston would even admit that the backstories he gives are probably false). After defeating him, the crew would be left with so many questions such as "what made him become evil" or "what were his motives to begin with" to create a sense of fear in that this would be the first villain that they know or learn barely anything about. Sometimes, I think not giving a villain a clear motive or backstory makes them 100 times more terrifying than if you did.
I do have an interesting theory that Winston is perhaps the actually greater scope villain of the series. He was the one who corrupted Niles into Eldritch Zero, hired Francis to kidnap Meggy, Told SMG3 about the CZcams remote, and gave Lawyer Kong the idea of building the firewall. This would make him more interesting as we know he basically would be the cause of everything yet we still wouldn't know how or why. Him being the TRUE greater scope villain would be the only thing we'd learn with everything else being a mystery to make him that much more scary.
I even have a theory that Winston's TV humanoid form isn't his true form, but rather a disguise for something much *MUCH* worse than the SMG4 crew and viewers could imagine.
My guess is that Winston is the true evil of the series and is basically causing all this stuff just for the shits and giggles. There was no reason for him to first destroy their castle and send Wren to have them undergo a fate worse than death.

Tell me wrong, but do you find something uncanny about Puzzlevision? His design just looks... off. It's like he's supposed to be a human, but clearly everything about him isn't
The fact that there is no clear backstory for Puzzlevision or how long he's been around genuinely makes him terrifying. He just exists as some sort of anonymous terror that the crew are unaware of. No motive, no backstory, nothing. Sometimes not giving your villain an origin story or clear motive can make much more terrifying

@@creeperplayz5742 Another creepy part is how Puzzlevision acts when we see him at the end of WOTFI 2023. Rather than having a breakdown, he says it was a good show before saying he can't wait to do it again sometime.
Think about it, he could've had Wren murder the crew or even unalive SMG4 back in IGTBP, but he hasn't done that yet. It gives off the same feeling as a wild predator choosing to toy with its prey rather than going for the kill. It knows it can kill the prey right away, but decides to instead fill its victim's last few moments with pure psychological terror just to make the kill even more fun.
That's the vibe Puzzlevision gives me. He could have killed the crew countless times before in season 13, yet he hasn't decided to kill them. He knows that the crew aren't aware of him and he uses that to his advantage. Puzzlevision clearly wants to fill the crew's moments with pure psychological terror because what would be the fun in just killing them? Unlike the previous villains, Puzzlevision clearly lives for the thrills because he wants to make sure the crew have experienced full terror. He's patient and knows that he could kill the crew any minute, but is waiting for the right moment to make their last moments filled with psychological horror because he's that evil.
My theory that he had a kids show had was canceled because of some sorta incident

Random, but does Puzzlevision's design stand out? Most of the other SMG4 characters have more colorful animesque designs, something Puzzlevision doesn't have. Puzzlevision has a more simplistic humanoid body, a color scheme of muted colors, deranged movements, and a unique cel shaded texture to his model. It honestly makes him look more like a character from Ren and Stimpy, Invader Zim, or even the Amazing Digital Circus. I mean that in a good way because it gives him a sense of mystery and unease.

Theory 1; he create almost every villains except Bob and Niles/Zero
Theory 2 ; Clentch is Puzzelvision
Theory 3 ; Puzzelvision is the brother or have a parental connexion with Monitor (for this one,I have no really proofs, but this is interesting).

I have a theory that Mysterious Tv Guy's goals are similar to Alastor where he wants entertainment but has a twisted idea a entertainment, which might be why he thought of WOTFI 2023 as a good "show"
I kinda have a feeling that Puzzlevision as this video calls him will kinda have a 7 deadly sins or 4 horseman of the Apocalypse like thing going on with him and each character or thing he's sent stuff to having some sort of connection to the main SMG4 cast . Considering so far i puzzlevision are connected it'd be
Smg4 and the Keyboard ( Smg4 wanting to make a perfect video)
Meggy and Wren( Meggy realizing her hero is a monster or Meggy getting back up)
Mario and Marty ( Marty being a cardboard cut out and somehow Mario understands him)

Although don't know who would be the next couple or next one don't think it'd be Melony or a repeat so I'll probably say Saiko or SMG3 with Saikos being how she usually is one to be mad and furious with SMG3 being similar to 4 but him being seen as 2nd to 4. The SMG4 theory listed could work although how long exactly would SMG4 have been controlled by Puzzlevision? If this theory is true then geez that has to be some long term storytelling if not thensomewhat long term
Interesting theory! I do think though that this whole SMG4 Puzzlevision trilogy will come to an end really soon, just by knowing that it is almost a year since IGBP happened (March 19), so I think there will be a final movie around that time to FINALLY wrap things up.

2:33 well it’s a cartoon technically heck even when Bug Bunny killed Smg4 Mario the Smg4 collapses with smg4 and smg3 unfazed or unknown to there recent situation (if possible to talk to cartoons. Bugs will say something along the lines of it’s a cartoon no one gets hurt that much specifically after the credits and then there back to square one.)

Mr. Puzzles/TV adware is a supernatural entity with the physical appearance of a humanoid with a TV head, he uses his powers to enhance and create new villains for the sole purpose of making ENTERTAINMENT for us and for himself, he cares for nobody aside from entertaining us
As for the constant world ending scenarios that happen throughout the series that kinda seem like lore? That is definitely just the show acting like a cartoon and nothing important otherwise it would've been made into a more important plot point, plus only the death of Mario can actually CAUSE the end of the universe cuz he is the heart of it

Ok the next victim of tv adware is tari just look at the clues
Clue number 1: tari has a talking arm wich is weird because we never see the arm talk until the smg4 episode " the day my arm whent Psycho" when tari was asking herself if anything was wrong with her like she wanted to be perfect like for smg4 perfect video and after that clench showed up like with smg4 the little tv guy showed up but instead of giving the deal away he didn't he's planing to give the deal away later to not blow up the cover or to manipulate tari into thinking that her friends are evil and that he's a good guy and that tari can be the hero if she destroys the smg4 crew
Clue number 2: tari is not caring for herself she maybe doing her best to care for her friends but for herself she isn't caring neither her friends know about it so they think tari is fine but she isn't

Clue number 3: the crew can't see Clench like for melony in the revelation arc only tari can see him so the crew can't do anything i know i know mario saw clench talk but maybe for a little drama in the show (aka taris control) and plus he thought tari was handpupeting and maybe because he knows he's dumb
