    I have this pattern and what I did on the straps was sewed a seam down the webbing right up next to the side seam. That held it down the way I wanted it. Love your version!

    I made this last year for a classmate’s friend. And..I just received some of that crushed velvet vinyl. It’s ‘sew’ pretty. Thank you Kassiah. Love this pattern too.

    You could toss a couple rivets on the straps close to the seams to anchor down webbing to get it to hang the way you prefer

    Hello. Quick question
    What weight thread do you use typically?
    I have the Juki 1541s and Tex 90 I struggle pulling the thread when I finish a seam. I have tried everything and can’t seem to figure out why! It will barely move from the tension discs and I’m wondering if I should just drop to Tex 45.
    I see you just pull and cut the thread…. lol.

      I like to use Tex 70 or 45 , I seem to have the best luck with those two sizes.
