If you guys are coming to the WR fly-in this year (this coming Sat) and need a place to stay in Claremore, just let me know. I am one of your subscribers.

Thanks! I'm not sure if we will make it this year or not. Still waiting on our engine to get back from overhaul.

Congrats on being the very last plane to depart Dog Iron this year 👍👍

@@CaptScafe good thing. If I had a plane, I’d have been last. Lol

Jeez! You really need to figure out the settings to shut up that nagging Betty! Point is, she's not helping..... I mean, warning you about terrain when you are trying to land? No pilot needs this in his/her life.

I totally agree with you! If you know anyone from Garmin please send them a link to this video so they can understand how obnoxious this is! I've spoken to their customer service and their representatives at Oshkosh about this. It's not a matter of settings to shut it up, it's flawed programming logic. Not only can you not silence the yelling but you also can't assign the waypoint as an airport so it knows you're landing (or departing). That capability exists on the GTN650 and up but isn't available on the GNC355. I spoke with them at OSH again this year and they know about the issue but have delayed the solution indefinitely. Meanwhile we have to live life like this.
