Canadian actor Chance Hurstfield stars in the new CBC Gem series The Bravest Knight, which is one of the first animated children's programs to feature an openly gay lead character.
When CBC Kids News asked the 14-year-old from Vancouver, B.C., how it felt to be part of the show, Chance said he’s proud to be part of a team that showcases characters that are otherwise underrepresented in the media.
