Hello from Lamphun. I've come across your vlog and immeditately fall in love with it. Now the Songkran festival is approaching after it's been suspended for three years due to the pandemic Covid. This year everything will get back to normal.
It's unfortunate for you guys in 2022. The government ordered the cancellation of this festival, so it's not as big as those who want to come to the festival think. But in this year 2023 We have come back to organize this festival in a big way.
Why is Songkran called the Thai new year, but the chinese new year had to be renamed to Lunar New Year? As Songkran also follows the lunar calendar. Then Songkran should actually also be called a Lunar New Year. Why people only renaming the chinese new year, but not the Thai new year? That's hypocrite.......
Thanks for leaving us a comment. We always want to respond thoughtfully to comments people take the time to leave us, but I am not sure what is meant by financial considerations to being a "full time traveler." We do agree, there are financial considerations to everything we do in life. In fact, one of our favorite quotes by one of our favorite podcasters, Paula Pant, is, "you can afford anything, just not everything." She's a huge inspiration to us.
