I think we need best of both worlds, digital education but there's still a "teacher" to make sure students are instructed the right lesson (either a video or pre programmed robot) as well as helping students in a classroom, keeping them in line (more like classroom assistant than teacher)
I know I had a teacher in highschool who deserved to be replaced by a robot. She would sit behind her desk and never do the one thing she was there for...Teach! She was the here's the book do it yourself type. An AI would actually be more beneficial we could ensure teaching is actually taking place in the classroom.
I think that the constraints of a school are what hold humans back. A few hours a day in a sound proof box being taught by an AI in the individuals personal interests would be huge and the rest can be any of the students physical interests like a club mentality... 2hrs club, 2hrs sport and 2hrs with the AI and we have amazing humans and smaller class sizes due to the sport being the only one requiring a teacher to yell at people just like a real job 😆
