  • time for some more bling on my zed after new rubber so fitted new stealth sprocket and did gold chain
    brief how to split a chain and refit including front and rear sprockets.
    next video will be a detail on a bmw 800st forks out, fairing of full clean and ceracoat of various parts.

    Great video! Thanks for sharing. Looks awesome too. I have that same splitter but not the press. I have always used a master link for reassembly. Maybe street bikes don't use master links as I only ride dirt bikes.

      Alot of street bikes use master links useally below 600 cc seems the norm 👍

      It goes by horsepower rating. A clip style master link can be used up to 70 HP. Anything over 70 HP needs to use a staked (or rivet) master link.

    I have difficult opening up the front sprocket nut, now I know the washer got to knock it flat before open up the nut and knock the washer back to lock it

    Hello guys ... I want to ask. Why can't I open the front sporket screw .. I went to the car shop even with a gun but can't open it, I hope you can help, I'm worried

      Sit on bike foot on brake in gear then another person with long Bar and heave they are quite often tight sadly but will go eventually

    I have experienced the links being stuck twice now after tightening the links not using the rear sprocket for support. Weird that it did work for you

      Alway do it of the sprocket just need to measure rather then just tighten down done 100s now

      Sealey does the trick to be honest most of my tools are snap on but looks like there splitter is made in similar place but cost £££££
