- Jesus displayed a great measure of compassion throughout His ministry on earth, whether He was performing miraculous works or revealing deep spiritual truths. In this study of Luke 8, we consider Jesus' power to save and heal us, and we learn from His actions and parables about what it means to grow spiritually and place our faith in Him.
This teaching is from our series 42 Luke - 2014 with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Albuquerque.
I’m very grateful for Skip Keitzig. I live in Denver and am reading the book of Luke and listen to these sermons everyday. All the people in Albuquerque are lucky to have a pastor who is this articulate.

Just a thought about the Virgin Mary and Jesus’ response
No person on earth ever existed or will ever exist closer to Jesus or listened to and kept His words more than the most Holy Mother of God
It's just not biblical

if you can say that the disciples of Jesus never told Him to pray because He is God then can you explain to whom, do you think, Jesus did pray multiple times as scripture tells us?
His deciples never told him to pray. They he was in authority over them. But they asked him to teach them to pray, and so he did. And yes, he is God. God the Son who pisitionally sumbitted to the will of God the father. He obeyed the Fathet even dying for our sin. And he did pray to the Father continuously.
