  • It is never too late for Jesus to help those in need. Today, R.C. Sproul continues his exposition of Luke’s gospel, showing how Christ restored the hope of a man about to lose his daughter and of a woman who had lost everything she had.
This sermon was preached by R.C. Sproul at Saint Andrew's Chapel in Sanford, Fla. Hear more from his series in the gospel of Luke: • The Gospel of Luke: Se...

The other night, I watched a movie that make me cry and grateful at the same TIME. The last part of that movie reminded me of GOD, my mind can't even grasp the depth of joy and gratitude when He adapted me as his own children.

R.C. Sproul was a wonderful preacher. Though he has gone to be with Christ, we can still hear him. Praise be!

This day is the daughter's birthday. Jesus does not respond to the need until the time at which she becomes fully 12 years old. Since 12 is an age of maturity when an adult decision can be made to choose faith, this must certainly be her "hour of decision." Billy Graham had a radio show, a TV presentation and a magazine all with this focus of offering an opportunity to decide. I think the idea of the account is that all children belong to Jesus. Young adults must choose. The gift of salvation is in his hand and offered. You can choose to accept. He will not refuse. Thank him. Confess his gift has been received.

      ♥✞♥ A Soldier, Me?
“A soldier, me? My Lord,” said he,
      “my strength is very small.”
“My child, it’s not your strength I ask
      I only ask your all.”
“A soldier, me? My Lord,” said she,
“I have no sword to shine.”
“My child, your sword would never do,
so I will give you mine.”
“A soldier, me? My Lord,” said he,
“No shield have I to hold.”
“My child, behind the shield of faith
in Me you will be bold.”
“A soldier, me? My Lord,” said she,
      “What cause shall I defend?”
“My child, the message of my Son,
      His coming and the end.”
“A soldier, me? My Lord,” said he,
      “I’ll do as You command!”
“My child, the only thing I ask
is that you hold my hand."♥✞♥✞♥

    "Jairus' Daughter (Luke 8:40-56)"
interesting Title dear pastor...for it shows what this world is really about. IE...
...From Adam and Eve; mankind has used this world to have joy on their-selves; in a myriad of ways. Where every one wants; what they dream of. Such as riches as houses, automobile, clothes, etc, Etc and ETC! "Me, me, me, me, me, me and me"!
And when we don't get that "euphoric dream"; we become mad at every thing, Etc. Right up to a 13 yr old girl (in the above verses) that died. because many would believe their kids are "gods". Oh yes. So Luke 8:40-56 is Jesus trying to tell us; "YOU are suffering and grieving because you have NO truth faith in me. Rather your faith is in your "Pretties" and riches, etc. Right up to your kids; that you make gods out of them"!
"Instead of following me; and then I shall give you blessings you could not imagine. But sad, YOU will not do that! So you go to church and temples, etc; and go through you silly repetitive routines. And Jesus is no where to be found; in your lives. because it is ALWAYS about YOU an Yours!". Oh indeed.
So the root point of those 16 verses from Luke; was Jesus "chastising" them for grieving over their child; while having NO faith in Jesus; UNTIL you have a tragedy. For then you come slobbering all over me. How sad. For putting faith in all earthly "fun's" and "want's" from birth to death.. Sad, but Oh So true.
Wake up Christians. Stop thinking about yourselves and yours (your "Brats and fake gods"); and think about Jesus, Who is the only true God...that created YOU and YOURS and everything else. Because if He wasn't; you and I...AINT!...
...In any case kind Sir and Brethren, start Praying OFTEN and Praising Jesus ONLY (and OFTEN); for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And if you are really sincerely in your "faith' in Jesus; as your ONLY God; then (and ONLY then) he will bless you and yours always; like you could never have fathomed. AMEN!

Pat, your " Jesus" is not the Jesus of Scripture. Jesus is NOT three manifestations. All Bibles are NOT filled with satanic lies.
      REPENT before you die.
