Great video! I love my Saddlemen SDC and did a cross country ride on mine; oftentimes riding 600-700 miles a day. In addition to all the points you made about this seat I found it a bit "stickier" in that unlike the stock seat, I don't slide around in the Saddlemen. This helped control the bike when going through the twisties.
I bought a Saddlemen step up for my 2022 Fatboy 6 months ago! Wow what a difference on my back! I’m 68 with back issues as well..worth every penny!

I had a Mustang seat on a VTX1800R. I rode that bike from Iowa to Florida then to Sturgis and back to Iowa. That trip was 5,700 miles long. It worked great for me. I have a 1999 Sportster custom with a Mustang wide touring seat withe backrest. It is very comfortable. I have not done a 500 mile day on the Sportster. It is far better than the stock seat or the aftermarket solo seat that came with the bike. It was way to soft. I could not ride an hour with either seat that came with the Sportster. I am glad your Saddleman seat works for you.
Really nice seat I have another brand but basically same step up style.I felt I could handle the bike better after I installed it. My wife also hates it so I’ve got to pick up something to install when she’s with me. Thanks for your content. Keep your knees in the wind👍

Biggest mistake I made was replacing my old road zeppelin seat, which was by far the most comfortable seat I ever had, with the Saddleman Road sofa, which is by far the worst seat I have ever had. I’d rather have a stock Harley seat. After 7,000 miles with that terrible seat I’m going back to the road zeppelin or even stock.
Just ordered my road sofa. Hoping I’ll be happy. The stock CVO seat on my ‘23 is horrible.
I wish they made an extended version of that seat.
I had the same seat but now I have there Tuck & Roll seat from saddlemen. It’s much softer and more comfortable than the SDC seat. If you ever sit on one you’re probably going to buy it 😂. I’m subscribed

My son had a LaPera and loved it.
I purchased a road sofa for the extended reach for I an 6 ft 6. I have roughly 5500 miles on it and is the roughest seat. I didn't find it very comfy at all. It is still stiff as a board and brutal on the lower back. Too expensive to buy seat after seat to just find a comfortable one.
Everyone is different. Just my own experience.
Same here - worst seat I’ve ever had. Might as well remove it and sit on the battery cover.
Every once in awhile it would start to generate heat. Wasn't a heated seat either, just within a few miles it would start getting hot. It was unbearable and had to stop and get off for a few. I guess some times it would absorb heat off the engine. Kind of leaning towards the mustang touring seat.
I like my stock seat on my 2020 ultra limited but thinking of trying something different just not sure what one
How tall are you and what’s your inseam? I’m 5’8” and tried to ride a 24 limited. It sat too tall for me and my calf’s fought with the passenger floorboards. I was up on the balls of my feet. Hoping if I get a rgs it will sit lower and I can flat foot it. He is selling it with a hd factory seat of a ultra limited so it should be somewhat good for the wife on long rides.
I bought a new saddleman seat for a gold wing. It was the worst seat I ever Set on.
I bought Corbin and Mustang, they were great.
I know, saddleman is a good seat. There's too many people that loves Them. It just did
Not fit me.
