Horton's DM Advantage Two-Speed Fan Drives alternate between eddy current and spring-actuated cooling. When using eddy current, the drive turns the fan at low speed. This reduces operating noise increases available horsepower for auxiliary systems and minimizes radiator abrasion from dust and debris. But when additional cooling is needed, the system spring-actuates, running the fan at full speed.
