FFS Daniel, anytime when I'm feeling "STUCK" I just put you on on the computer and I feel alive again! Greetings from Sweden!
Skäl 🫡 thank you !
I saw some of your posted vids before you started the Stuck on Sawdust series. I think I subbed after the first one. I like your sense of humor, you've got a great eye for what will sell, and you put a creative spin on it. Please keep up the great work, keep the videos coming. You show us what we can do with a small shop! Glad to see the flood didn't stop you, and you have shown true grit throughout it all! My hat's off to you, my bearded Viking friend!
🫡 absolutely my friend . Thanks for such a great comment ! That means a lot . I certainly have a love for woodworking and a passion for sharing with others and I’m glad you’re enjoying the content . 🫡
I like the light edging on the back board of the Sapele! Really makes that piece pop! Nice piece...but that doesn't surprise me!
And a question...how come you don't make you're own French cleats? I know you have a reason, just wondering. 😊
@1mountain2 I do make my own but sometimes people want different options
Sweet to the eye is that which is seen…… it’s an old Viking saying…. And it’s appropriate for bringing out beauty of wood to be appreciated…. Nice project Daniel
🫡 god bless brother

I like that, going to give it a try. You could do all kinds of things to make that your own or to customize it. Well done.

well I've been watching your ole bearded face for awhile now on your episodes and just now realized I wasn't subbed to your channel;;; so what I did was hit that sub button;;and just in the nick of time;;;;lol;;;;this ole gray bearded man made it in 2023;;;whew almos let this year get away;;;;so before I finish watching I want to say;;;have a HAPPY NEW YEAR;;;;;oh and a thumbs up for the quality and visual progress instead of this what was done off camera;;;so many do that and the inexperienced are left with a big question mark in their mind;;;now as a home builder, remodeler, and so called craft maker I know 90% ot tips and techniques but many don't;;;;I know its going to be a whole year before we get to see another episode but I think we as I will wait that whole year for a new one;;;see ya next year;;;
Amazing ‘ thanks so much brother . 🫡 see you next year. Happy new year
Okay that’s new.. you invented a compressor powered miter saw (4:40) 😂
When I first saw the shelf you presented in the beginning I thought, “oh sweet”.. but when I a saw your version of it: “what a BADA$$ stuuunning masterpiece!”
The wood grains, the colors, the combinations, the contrasts, I love it all..
The wow-factor is kinda rare to me but this is spot on! Very impressive work, Viking! Truly a pleasure. I could go on with complementing but, I gotta stop at some point, right 😂 now, before I get out of control, see ya next time!
🫡 lmao 😂 thank you so very much my friend !! I really appreciate the amazing engagement u bring ! YouRE ALWAYS AMAZING !
Great work. I will definitely have to get and try some veneer sometime soon. Keep up the good work. As far as tour wife trying to steal it anything i make my fiance always gets the prototype!!!
Lmao 🤣 yeh that’s sounds about right my friend
You should do a video on packaging that weird ass shaped shelf. If a person can ship that shelf they can pretty much ship anything 😂 love the videos keep them coming brother
😂 thank bro , 🫡
Very nice work. Where do you find that veneer in the big rolls? I seem to only find small pieces and the price is astronomical. Keep up the good work. I'll keep watching.

Not sure if I wanna "keep the lights on". I would hate to be responsible for you getting electrocuted in the next flood. 😢
Anyway... your project came out awesome. Oddly enough, I spent yesterday looking for veneer sources. I was aiming for thin slats like they use to make wooden window blinds, but I guess a roll option might work.
Along with the cleat wall hanger, do you use anything at the bottom so that it's not tilted forward? I have found that self-stick silicone "dots" help to even out the tilt and also prevent wall hangings from wanting to swing out of level if the shelf is oddly loaded.
Nice job today!
And no DadGummits! 😅
Lol 😂 yes I am gonna install two of the cleats to the piece and send off directions with the item on how to layout the wall for the opposing cleats . 👍
Love your videos and projects, just curious as what size is your shop and how did you get started. I'm working on starting a shop build just don't know really how big I want it.
It’s about 350 sq ft. If I was to build it over again it would be a tad smaller. But I’m happy with what I got. Thanks for tuning in and good luck brother
I have 40 clamps and I still run out.
You could have 1000 and still have a project that needs 1001. I feel like the shop knows and will adjust accordingly so you still will never have enough.
Lmao 🤣
Have you considered using an HVLP or HTE spray gun to apply finish?
My compressor was fried during the flood Dec 17 and the one I’m using now isn’t the best , I have that set up but unfortunately it’s unusable at the moment.
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks I seen the flood video. Man that sucks a big honken huge butt..!
@@houseoffire72 yeah man , really sucks !! I am close to being able to afford what was destroyed though so I’m hopeful and very grateful to just be able to get in here ! Thanks so much for viewing and engaging
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorksI hear that bud..! Had to put all my shop stuff and tools into storage 4yrs ago. Then some meth heads decided to steal well over 9k worth of tools. Thank God I had insurance man..!!!
Been remodeling an old garage now for the last 2 years. Its a workable shop as is but I still need to build a dead flat workbench. A little here a little there goes a long ass way.
I was just wondering where is the best place to get your hardwood from? Great video I really enjoyed watching
pinecreekwood.com/
I didn’t see a link for where you get your veneer.
It’s in the description of the video under my Etsy link
Awesome video as always. I can't remember which video you said it in but said there was a company you liked that shipped lumber. I don't have good places around me and was wondering if you could put the link in. Appreciate all that you do, as you continue to help newbies like me.

It’s my absolute pleasure my friend , 🫡
Did he say fragile? Is that Italian?
Which episode was it that had the ladder shelf. I need to know the measurements for the shelves the length and height of the sides and bottom I have all the other measurements thanks rock star Daniel
Ep.1 or 2
What tooth blade did you use for Vernier and all around general purpose
24 tooth rip blade flat tooth
Thank you
Is that a good all round blade
I have tried 3 times to join chisel champs but have no link to do it😢
You gotta do it from you computer
Where did you get the veneer from
North west Timbers
I have a question and maybe you can answer in one of your videos. Alot of the wood i want to use is gray from being weathered or old pallet wood. Question When i cut it the end looks "fresh" cut how would you deal with that?
Do you want the whole piece to look fresh ? Or weathered ?
Weathered
How you gonna ship that thing ?
Easily
Where to get the veneer bro?
www.ebay.com/str/soinveneer?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=ipk2df0nteu&sssrc=3418065&ssuid=vhvttnnpq2m&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Thanks man!
I am poor
Me too
You are so wrong with what way you need to place your material to keep from tearout on the veneer. Tablesaw it should be facing up and on the mitersaw it should be facing down.
Yeah man that tear out ruined my piece due to me doing it wrong right ?? Yeah I’ll do it my way buddy and keep getting these absolute perfect results . Thanks for the input anyhow skäl 🫡 carrying on
Where the blade comes out of your piece of material like the bottom side of it on the table saw it will have tearout cause the blade is pulling threw the material. On a miter saw its pulling up out of the material and will have tearout. That's why you are putting tape on it to keep from that happening. I've been in the wood working business a hell of a lot longer than you and never have to put tape on my material unless I'm running a jigsaw with the blade not having a down or up cutting blade depending on what I'm cutting. Same thing goes for a table saw or miter saw
Raise your table saw blade higher then just over the thickness of your material. If your cutting 3/4" material Raise your blade up to like cutting 1" material or alittle more. That will help you out a lot. Having your blade just barley above your material is why you are having blowout
