Very intreating! I’d rather keep moving fences for my little group of 25 head. From the flat land of Michigan.

Here in the southern part of Virginia, I’m moving my small herd of South Poll cattle (~ 100 head) across 300-acres via 20 paddocks by myself and no dogs. Fortunately for me, my cattle are typically waiting at the gate to the next paddock when I arrive each morning. My job is to open the gate and stay out of their way. I recently purchased my first three horses at the age 63, but I haven’t mustered the courage to begin learning to ride them. Your video makes me want to incorporate my horses into my small cattle operation, even if it’s only for the western nostalgia and enjoyment of my horses, and just maybe to show off a little in front of my neighbors 🤠

Cliff, thank you for showing us the state of the art in CONVENTIONAL cattle handling. I am glad that less trauma to the cattle is being practised by this ranch. It seems they are moving closer to your way of handling cattle, to keep them fat and happy. I am enjoying your videos so very much. I have studied Greg Judy's work for many years, but I was lacking someone to translate it into the language of Texas....a very different place - then I found you! We are planning to start our own sustainable ranch in South Central Texas and we dream of buying our South Poles from y'all.

@@cliffhonnasregenerativerancherWell, thank you for your kind attention. We live just outside of New Braunfels, but are planning to find land further South. I plan to experiment with introducing native plants to pasture. My husband, Roy grew up in Hill Country, but I'm chasing better soll and rainfall. Wish me luck!

Glad there was some green there. I was just watching Greg J today from 1st week of November, creeks dried up, spring dried up in his two year drought. But East Texas got a little more water.
Do they try moving cattle regenerative, once a month, a week?

❤🎉 Yeah this territory looks so different than what places like Anchor Brand Ranch and 1880 Drifters have to go through in driving their cattle.
I found the music distracting, especially since it was so loud... It would be great just to hear the natural sounds of the cattle drive..🤔 Sorry just my opinion... being older my concentration level comes at a premium. 😐
Otherwise it was a pretty cool video, thank you. 🤠🐂⭐
