My youngest daughter, 3 years old at the time, loved “Scrubs”(still climbs into bed with me when I’m watching it) and LOVED this song, especially this version of it! She’d ask me to play this for her everyday on our way for me to drop her off at her preschool, and of course I’d oblige. This song will always be a very special memory and bond for the two of us, and for me, it brings tears to my eyes. Because it just reminds how fast BOTH of my girls are growing up(they’re 6 & 7 and it was just yesterday I was carrying each one to the nursery after being born) and also because I feel like a piece of “our” history together(mine and my baby girl’s) died when Sam Lloyd died. Rest easy, pain free, and watch over that beautiful boy you and your wife had! And please know that you made special memories for literally millions of people! God Bless You Sam Lloyd!
It wasn't cancelled, it was over. The ending made me extremely sad, up to this day, but the show wouldn't be so epic if it hadn't been finished in such a influential and nostalgic way.
Rest in peace Ted. You were one of the most brilliant sitcom characters TV has had the pleasure of knowing.
